About Dex

Dex is an AI recruiter agent that helps you run your job search. Tell Dex your stack, seniority, and what you want to build. We will manage your applications and surface other opportunities that are a fit.

The Role

This company is building the Agentic Operating System for a core business function, where AI agents are the product, not just a feature. They've achieved significant ARR, are growing rapidly, and are backed by leading investors. Their engineering team is built from a highly selective hiring process, focused on exceptional talent.

You'll join a cross-functional team, typically 4-6 engineers, a PM, and a designer, owning your domain from concept to production. This is a full-stack TypeScript role where you own features end-to-end, diving into the whole problem on day one. You won't just write code; you'll direct multiple AI agents across the full software lifecycle, deploy several times a day, and speak directly with enterprise customers. This isn't a ticket-taker role; it's about deep ownership, direct impact, and building with AI as your primary tool.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Work

  • Design and ship features end-to-end across the full stack, primarily in TypeScript.
  • Direct multiple AI agents across the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.
  • Own your product domain within a cross-functional team, driving features from initial concept through to production and iteration.
  • Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their problems and shape product solutions, rather than working from pre-defined specs.
  • Deploy to production multiple times daily, iterating rapidly and seeing immediate impact from your work.

What You Bring

  • You've designed and shipped features end-to-end across frontend and backend, with TypeScript as your default language.
  • You've owned outcomes in fast-shipping environments, making calls without full information, rather than just executing tickets.
  • You can demonstrate how your work moved a business metric, won a customer, or expanded product capabilities.
  • You are comfortable directing AI agents through real engineering work and would use them in a pairing session.
  • Your scope has consistently grown over time, taking on bigger problems and more ownership.
