Dex
Dex is an AI recruiter agent that helps you run your job search. Tell Dex your stack, seniority, and what you want to build. We will manage your applications and surface other opportunities that are a fit.
The role
This company is building the Agentic Operating System for a critical business function: the intake, approvals, supplier risk, and renewals that every large company runs on. They're rebuilding it so AI agents do the work, rather than just sitting alongside it. This isn't an AI feature; it's AI as the product. They've achieved significant ARR growth in a short time, working with hundreds of enterprise customers, and are backed by leading investors.
You'd join one of their cross-functional product teams, typically 4-6 engineers, a PM, and a designer. Each team owns its domain end-to-end, from idea to production and iteration. This is a deep-end role: you get the whole problem, and the assumption is you'll figure it out. You won't be handed tickets or work from a spec someone else wrote. Instead, you'll direct multiple AI agents across the full software lifecycle, speaking directly with enterprise customers. The team has an exceptionally high bar for talent, having interviewed thousands to hire their first few dozen.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The work
- Design, build, and ship features end-to-end across the full stack, owning your domain from initial concept through to production and iteration.
- Direct multiple AI agents to solve complex engineering problems, rather than writing code by hand.
- Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and shape product direction.
- Deploy to production multiple times a day, operating in a high-cadence, high-ownership environment.
- Translate business impact into technical solutions, ensuring your work moves key metrics or enables new sales capabilities.
What You Bring
- You've designed and shipped features end-to-end across frontend and backend, with TypeScript as your default language.
- You thrive in environments where you own outcomes, make calls without full information, and ship fast – not where you're handed tickets.
- You can demonstrate how your work directly impacted business metrics, won customers, or enabled new product capabilities.
- You're comfortable directing AI agents through real engineering work, and would come to a pairing session prepared to use them.
- You have a clear track record of increasing scope and ownership, pushing yourself beyond comfortable roles, perhaps through a side project in production or a founding experience.
