About Lumi
Lumi is building an AI-native learning platform designed to give every student a personal tutor that understands them.
Instead of treating every student the same, Lumi remembers how you learn, what you struggle with, what you've already covered and where you need more support. Students can learn through natural conversation, voice, interactive lessons, a digital whiteboard and visual explanations.
Our long-term vision is to build an AI learning companion that grows alongside a student — becoming increasingly personalised as it learns their goals, strengths, weaknesses and learning style.
Our mission is simple: make genuinely personalised, high-quality education accessible to every student.
We're an early-stage team, which means you'll have the opportunity to influence the product rather than simply work on a small part of something that already exists.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
