Product Innovation Engineer / Whitstable / Hybrid / Permanent / Up to £80,000 Basic Salary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Innovation Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. This role is ideal for someone with experience in prototype engineering and experience developing new products in an engineering space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing prototype products
  • Work with the testing team to ensure products meet guidelines and amending prototype specifications
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure designs meet the correct requirements
  • Conduct investigations on failed prototype tests
  • Presenting concepts and technical details to internal teams

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a product development or prototype engineering position
  • Higher National Certificate or Degree in an Engineering field
  • Experience using SolidWorks or a similar 3D CAD software
  • Background within manufacturing, engineering, or mechanical environments
  • Good communication and presentation skills
