Global Product Innovation Manager

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Business Innovation

Location: Manchester, UK

About Spectrum Brands

Spectrum Brands is a global branded consumer products company with a portfolio of trusted brands across categories including home and garden, personal care, pet care, and home appliances. We focus on creating products that improve everyday life through strong brands, consumer insight, and innovation.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Global Product Innovation Manager to join the Growth team for one of our home brands, helping shape its next phase of growth in the health and wellness space. This is a great opportunity for an experienced NPD, innovation, product development, or consumer brand professional to own a global product portfolio and help turn consumer insight and market opportunities into successful new products.

The Role

You will take ownership of the brand's global product portfolio and NPD/innovation roadmap, balancing consumer needs, brand strategy, commercial opportunity, and technical feasibility.

You will:

  • Identify consumer, category, and market opportunities using consumer insight, market trends, competitive intelligence, and commercial data.
  • Lead NPD and product innovation from concept and business case through development, global launch, and post-launch optimization.
  • Develop global launch strategies covering positioning, pricing, channels, and launch plans for regional teams to execute.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize existing products, refresh the portfolio, and develop new products that drive long-term growth.
  • Partner with Brand, Consumer Insights, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Engineering, Design, Sourcing, and Supply Chain teams globally.
  • Work across digital and retail channels to understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct reports.
  • Help shape the ways of working within a new Growth Team, including exploring agile approaches and practical applications of AI.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
