Through customer insight, product definition, analytics, validation and governance, PAS drive products to be built around genuine customer needs, deliver differentiated experiences, and continuously improve customer satisfaction.
About The Role
This is a unique opportunity to build and lead world-class Product Insights & Validation capabilities, combining Voice of Customer, product validation and advanced analytics to influence product decisions across Dyson. Your work will help ensure customer outcomes remain visible, measurable and central to decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
The Global Product Insights & Validation team serves as Dyson's independent voice of Product Satisfaction, ensuring products deliver the customer outcomes they are designed to achieve.
As Quality Manager, you will lead Dyson's global Product Insights & Validation capability, transforming customer feedback, validation evidence, product performance data and market intelligence into actionable insights that influence product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
You will establish and evolve world-class product satisfaction Voice of Customer (VoC), product validation user trials, analytics and reporting capabilities, ensuring customer outcomes are measured, understood and visible throughout the organisation. Working across Discovery PAS, Delivery PAS, Business Intelligence and product development teams, you will create a continuous feedback loop between customer needs, validation user trial activities, product development and in-market performance.
Product Insights & Strategy
- Define and deliver Dyson's global Product Insights & Validation user trial strategy.
- Establish frameworks, metrics and governance for measuring customer outcomes and product satisfaction.
- Embed customer and product intelligence into product and business decision-making.

Voice of Customer
- Lead the global Voice of Customer ecosystem, integrating feedback, research, reviews, service data and validation insights.
- Identify customer needs, emerging trends, satisfaction drivers and pain points.
- Translate customer insights into clear, actionable recommendations that improve product performance and customer outcomes.
Product Validation
- Lead global validation user trial activities to assess whether products successfully deliver intended customer outcomes.
- Define and continuously improve validation standards, methodologies and best practices.
- Ensure objective evidence informs product development decisions and drives improvement actions.
Analytics & Reporting
- Partner with Business Intelligence teams to develop best-in-class reporting, dashboards and product performance insights.
- Leverage advanced analytics, automation and AI-enabled tools to strengthen insight generation.
- Ensure customer and product intelligence is accessible, meaningful and actionable for stakeholders.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor performance and evolving customer expectations.
- Establish benchmarking approaches to assess Dyson's performance against competitors.
- Support future product strategies, targets and customer outcome objectives.
Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing global Product Insights & Validation team.
- Build capability in customer research, validation, analytics and insight generation.
- Foster a culture of objectivity, curiosity and evidence-based decision making.

- Act as the independent voice of Product Satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships across PAS, Engineering, Research, Design, Commercial and Business Intelligence teams.
- Influence senior stakeholders through compelling customer insights, validation evidence and data-driven recommendations.
About you
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in Quality, Product Validation User Trials, Voice of Customer, Product Insights, Customer Experience, Consumer Research or a related discipline.
- Proven experience developing and implementing customer satisfaction, product intelligence or quality strategies within a global organisation.
- Strong understanding of Voice of Customer methodologies, customer feedback systems and customer outcome measurement.
- Experience leading product validation activities and applying evidence-based approaches to assessing product performance.
- Strong analytical capability, with experience interpreting complex datasets and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience developing reporting frameworks, dashboards and performance metrics.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
