Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is part of the BMW Group and its Goodwood manufacturing plant sits in the heart of the West Sussex countryside. As a student, you will have hands-on experience from day one, gaining practical insights into the corporate operations of a world-class automotive manufacturer.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood – Future Talent Events Placement Year (July 2027)

The Rolls-Royce Future Talent team is responsible for steering the training and development needs of all Intern, Graduates, and Apprentices within our Goodwood office.

In the Apprentice Training area, you will be part of the team to support with all aspects of apprentice onboarding, apprentice marketing, and school events. You will develop and organise apprentice engagement activities. Over the course of the year, you will build the skills needed to plan and run apprentice events including recruitment Assessment Centres and Welcome Evenings.

What awaits you?

  • Assist in planning and organizing validation tests for different vehicle systems.
  • Support the execution of validation tests, including vehicle setup, instrumentation, data collection, and post-test analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion of validation activities.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during validation tests.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of validation procedures and test protocols.
  • Document test results, observations, and recommendations for future reference.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in vehicle testing and validation techniques.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the overall validation process.

What should you bring along?

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems and components.
  • Familiarity with vehicle testing and validation processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and data acquisition systems.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics, vehicle performance, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
