Location: Remote, UK
Employment: Full-time
Compensation: £60,000–£75,000 base + performance bonus
Interior Icons is a fast-growing ecommerce furniture company selling design-led products in the US.
We are hiring a Product Intelligence & Automation Lead to help us make better commercial decisions and automate key parts of our product workflow.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role working directly with the CEO and Product Managers.
Your mission is to build systems that help us identify better product opportunities, make faster data-driven decisions, and significantly increase the productivity of our product team.
This is not a traditional BI/reporting role and you do not need to be a traditional software engineer.
We are looking for someone who can understand commercial problems, analyse data, and personally build useful tools and automations using modern AI technology.

What you will do
- Build tools that improve product research and commercial decision-making.
- Analyse product, market, and performance data to identify useful patterns and opportunities.
- Structure previously unstructured commercial knowledge and data.
- Build internal tools that help Product Managers work faster and make better decisions.
- Automate repetitive parts of the product-management workflow.
- Connect data from different systems and external sources.
- Experiment with AI tools, APIs, and automation platforms.
- Build rapid prototypes, test them with users, and continuously improve them.
- Manage specialist developers when deeper engineering work is required.
What we are looking for
- Strong analytical and commercial thinking.
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered tools, automations, or internal applications.
- Comfortable working with APIs, structured data, and automation platforms.
- Able to turn ambiguous business problems into working solutions.
- Fast-moving, practical, and highly independent.
- Comfortable as a hands-on individual contributor.
- Experience with SQL, Python, ecommerce, product analytics, or AI-assisted development is useful but not essential.

Recruitment process
