Product Lead (AI Products)

Build the Operating System for the World's Physical Economy

Location: London (Preferred), Dubai or San Francisco
Reports to: Founder & CEO

About Smart Bricks

Smart Bricks is building the intelligence layer for the world's physical economy. Every year, trillions of dollars are invested across real estate, infrastructure, energy, and other real assets using fragmented systems, disconnected data, and institutional knowledge trapped inside spreadsheets, PDFs, and people's heads.

We're changing that.

We're building an AI-native platform and Applied AI Lab that enables investors, developers, governments, and Fortune 500 companies to make faster, better, and more explainable decisions across the entire lifecycle of physical assets—from sourcing and underwriting to due diligence, portfolio management, and capital allocation.

Our ambition isn't simply to build another software company. We're building the operating system that powers how institutions make decisions.

Every customer deployment teaches us something. Every workflow becomes intelligence. Every insight becomes product.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Product Lead to define what enterprise software looks like in the age of AI. This is not a traditional Product Manager role. You're not joining to manage backlogs. You're not joining to run sprint planning. You're not joining to write PRDs all day.

We're looking for a product leader with exceptional product taste and strong design instincts. Someone who is equally comfortable designing AI-native workflows, prototyping new interaction models, interviewing customers, and partnering with engineering to bring products to life.

You'll work directly alongside the Founder, the Head of AI Lab, and the Engineering Lead to build the next generation of enterprise AI products. You'll help answer questions no one has solved yet.

  • How should investment professionals collaborate with AI?
  • How should autonomous agents participate in investment workflows?
  • How should billions of data points become intuitive decisions?

You'll help invent those answers.

Your Mission

Build the AI operating system for institutional decision-making. Your responsibility is to ensure every customer deployment strengthens the platform. You'll continuously transform customer learning into products that scale across every future customer.

Every day you'll ask:

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • If AI existed first, how would this workflow work? Not:
  • How do we improve the existing software?

What You'll Build

  1. Define Product Strategy

    • Partner directly with the Founder to shape the long-term vision for the institutional platform.
    • Own:
      • Product strategy
      • Platform vision
      • Product architecture
      • Workflow prioritisation
      • Customer value
      • Product quality

You'll help ensure Smart Bricks evolves into a single AI-native operating system rather than a collection of disconnected features.

  2. Design AI-Native Workflows

    • You'll redesign how institutions operate. Examples include:
      • Investment sourcing
      • Underwriting
      • Due diligence
      • Investment committee workflows
      • Portfolio management
      • Asset management
      • Market intelligence
      • Capital allocation
      • Risk management
      • Investment memoranda

You'll think beyond screens and features, designing entirely new ways for humans and AI to collaborate.

  3. Turn Customer Learning Into Product

    • Work closely with the Head of AI Lab.
    • Every deployment should answer:
      • What repeated?
      • What surprised us?
      • What should become product?
      • What should remain bespoke?

You'll create the framework that transforms customer deployments into reusable platform capabilities.

  4. Build Exceptional AI Experiences

    • The future of enterprise software isn't dashboards. It's intelligent systems.
    • You'll design experiences centred around:
      • AI agents
      • Natural language
      • Multi-agent workflows
      • Human-in-the-loop systems
      • Explainability
      • Trust
      • Collaboration
      • Decision support

You'll prototype rapidly and iterate directly with customers.

  5. Build the Product Function

    • As one of the company's earliest leaders, you'll establish how Product operates.
    • Over time, you'll recruit and lead:
      • Product Managers
      • Product Designers
      • User Researchers
      • Product Operations
      • AI Experience Designers

You'll define the standards, principles, and culture that shape Product for years to come.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 12 months, you will have:

  • Defined the institutional product vision.
  • Designed the core AI workflows powering the platform.
  • Built a repeatable process for turning customer deployments into reusable products.
  • Helped launch multiple AI-native capabilities into production.
  • Established a product culture centred around speed, customer obsession, and exceptional design.
  • Built a roadmap that compounds institutional intelligence with every deployment.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for builders. People with exceptional product taste. People who simplify incredibly complex problems. You're equally comfortable:

  • Speaking with enterprise customers.
  • Sketching workflows.
  • Building interactive prototypes.
  • Challenging engineering decisions.
  • Defining product strategy.
  • Making difficult prioritisation decisions.
  • Thinking about the future of AI.

You move comfortably between vision and execution. You care deeply about design, but always in service of solving real customer problems.

Ideal Background

We're particularly excited to meet product leaders who have built AI-native or workflow-centric products at companies such as:

  • OpenAI
  • Anthropic
  • Cursor
  • Perplexity
  • Notion
  • Palantir
  • Hebbia
  • Linear
  • Figma
  • Retool
  • Airtable
  • Stripe
  • Databricks
  • Vercel

We're far more interested in the products you've built than the titles you've held. Experience in real estate is not required. Curiosity about complex industries is.

Leadership Principles

You'll thrive here if you:

  • Start with customer outcomes rather than features.
  • Think in workflows rather than screens.
  • Prototype instead of debating.
  • Obsess over product quality.
  • Believe AI fundamentally changes how software should be designed.
  • Simplify complexity.
  • Move quickly.
  • Care deeply about craft.
  • Hire people better than yourself.

Why Join

Very few product leaders get the opportunity to define an entirely new category of enterprise software. This is one of them.

You'll work directly with the Founder and founding leadership team to shape how the world's largest institutions interact with AI. You'll influence company strategy from day one. You'll build products that redefine how billions of dollars of capital are allocated and managed.

Most importantly, you'll help create the operating system for the world's physical economy.

If you're excited about building the next generation of AI-native enterprise software, we'd love to hear from you.
