About InvestEngine
InvestEngine is everything the modern investor should need. Unbeatable value, market-leading automation, and built for easy, long-term investing. We’ve built a strong foundation, have over £3.5 billion invested, award-winning service, and a passionate team, now we’re ready to scale.
About the Role
We are looking for a Product Lead with deep experience in cash savings and treasury products to lead the development of InvestEngine’s Cash ISA proposition. Initially, the role will focus on launching and managing a Cash ISA delivered through a partner. Over time, the successful candidate will help define and build the capabilities needed to bring more of the treasury solution in-house. This is a hands-on product leadership role spanning proposition design, commercial strategy, pricing, partner management, go-to-market and ongoing product performance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the product strategy, design and launch of a partner-delivered Cash ISA.
- Own the commercial and customer proposition, including interest-rate strategy, pricing governance and margin management.
- Develop acquisition and retention strategies, with particular focus on introductory and bonus rates.
- Model and monitor customer behaviour before and after bonus-rate expiry, including balance attrition, switching and retention.
- Define the go-to-market strategy across positioning, target segments, channels, launch mechanics and lifecycle communications.
- Manage the product relationship with banking and infrastructure partners, ensuring clear ownership of service, controls and customer outcomes.
- Establish the MI needed to manage balances, inflows, outflows, rate sensitivity, cost of funds, margin and customer cohorts.
- Work closely with Finance, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Engineering and senior leadership.
- Shape the longer-term roadmap towards an in-house treasury capability, including operating model, technology, controls, liquidity and regulatory requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Significant product leadership experience in cash savings, Cash ISAs, deposits or treasury-led consumer products.
- A strong track record of building and launching cash products, ideally through both partner-led and in-house models.
- Practical experience setting customer interest rates and balancing growth, retention, funding requirements, margin and fair value.
- Deep understanding of bonus-rate propositions, including acquisition economics, expiry communications and post-bonus customer drop-off.
- Experience managing savings-product go-to-market strategies and customer lifecycle performance.
- Strong commercial and analytical judgement, with the ability to turn customer and balance behaviour into clear product decisions.
- Understanding of the UK savings market, ISA rules, Consumer Duty and the regulatory considerations relevant to cash products.
- Comfortable operating across strategy and delivery in a fast-moving, regulated environment.
