We're supporting a leading telecommunications organisation on a major data and digital transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Product Lead to join the team on an initial 6-12 month contract.
This role is focused on leading products within the data domain, driving the vision, strategy and delivery of data-driven capabilities that enable better customer experiences, operational efficiency and business decision-making.
Working within a mature Agile environment, you'll collaborate with engineering, architecture, data and business teams to define product roadmaps, prioritise backlogs and deliver scalable solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile transformation programme within one of the UK's largest telecoms environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for data-focused products.
- Lead product discovery and prioritisation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Own and manage the product backlog, working closely with Scrum teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Partner with Engineering, Data Engineering, Architecture, Analytics and Business stakeholders to deliver high-value products.
- Translate business requirements into epics, features and user stories.
- Drive data-led decision making through customer insight, analytics and product performance metrics.
- Balance customer, commercial and technical priorities to maximise product value.
- Identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies and cross-functional initiatives.
- Champion Agile product management and Scrum best practices.
- Present product strategy, roadmap updates and delivery progress to senior stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
