This role leads the product function specifically for pre-deal activities and deal and relationship management, overseeing a team of product managers, engineers, and designers.
The Head of IVS sets overall portfolio strategy with business line leadership. This role owns multiple products and initiatives that form part of that strategy, each requiring coherent product visions, cross-product roadmaps, sequencing, and engagement plans, with consistent delivery of capabilities and value to the business.

- Take direct, hands-on product ownership of specific capabilities when required, including engagement with technical data concepts such as data modelling, pipelines, graphs, and context management alongside engineering teams
- Represent the product portfolio and stakeholder interests in SteerCo and governance forums; contribute to narrative development and decision-making
- Drive programme and project management, process redesign, and adoption across business lines alongside product builds
- Coach team members, set standards for requirements discovery, prioritisation, value quantification, and delivery

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
