Our strategy is focused on delivering strong underwriting performance, operating an efficient and flexible marketplace, and maximising the capital advantage of the Lloyd’s market — while continuing to build a Lloyd’s we are proud of.

Bring the Lloyd’s market to life for all global stakeholders!

Lloyd’s is the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance marketplace. We bring together leading risk specialists to advance global progress.

We’re looking for a Product Lead to shape the future of Lloyd’s Academy Signature Programmes. You’ll own a distinctive portfolio of premium programmes and market experiences for brokers, underwriters, clients, partners, and international stakeholders. These programmes help participants understand how the Lloyd's market works, build valuable market connections and develop the confidence to engage effectively with the market. You’ll turn audience needs and market insight into experiences that build knowledge, confidence, and lasting connections.

What you’ll do

  • You’ll work across Lloyd’s and with senior external stakeholders to:
    • Own the Signature Programmes portfolio, with clear audiences, propositions, quality standards, and measures of success.
    • Develop and maintain a clear plan for the evolution of the Signature Programmes portfolio, aligned to Academy strategy and market priorities.
    • Evaluate new opportunities and make recommendations on where Lloyd's should invest time, resource and funding to maximise strategic impact.
    • Translate audience needs and market insight into purposeful programme objectives and experiences.
    • Set consistent standards for flagship programmes, structured site visits, and hosted market experiences.
    • Oversee delivery with operational teams and external partners, while keeping the focus on product quality and participant outcomes.
    • Manage priorities, dependencies, and risks, addressing issues early and recommending practical solutions.
    • Use feedback, data, and performance insight to improve the portfolio continuously.
    • Represent Lloyd’s Academy as a credible and engaging ambassador for the Lloyd’s market.
    • Work with international stakeholders and regional teams to ensure programmes support Lloyd's strategic priorities across key markets.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to strengthen programme quality, reach and strategic impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
