Product Lead (m/f/d)

As our Product Lead (m/f/d), you build and own a product pillar from the first opportunity through to a scaled portfolio of solutions. You combine hands-on product management with strategic leadership, taking ownership of problem validation, discovery, delivery, launch, and continuous value monitoring. As your pillar matures, you define the strategic direction that Product Managers work within and raise the standard of product craft across the team. At the same time, you own the commercial health of your pillar, including revenue, growth, positioning, and competitive differentiation.

What can you expect?

  • Build a product pillar from the ground up

    • Identify and validate new product opportunities based on customer needs, market signals, and commercial potential
    • Take ideas from initial opportunity through market validation, first solutions, and early customer adoption
    • Build and iterate products toward product-market fit while making deliberate decisions about where to invest, adapt, or stop
  • Own product strategy and roadmap

    • Define the strategic direction and roadmap for your product pillar across multiple solutions
    • Prioritise opportunities and investments based on customer value, commercial impact, market dynamics, and available evidence
    • Represent your pillar in portfolio-level discussions and contribute to broader product investment decisions
  • Stay hands-on across the product lifecycle

    • Lead discovery, delivery, launch, and iteration across the solutions within your pillar
    • Work closely with Engineering and other cross-functional partners to turn validated opportunities into valuable products
    • Monitor customer and commercial outcomes after launch and use insights to continuously improve the portfolio
  • Drive commercial performance and market positioning

    • Own the commercial health of your pillar, including revenue, growth, positioning, and competitive differentiation
    • Develop strong business cases and make strategic product bets based on customer value and commercial opportunity
    • Represent the pillar externally through customer workshops, strategic sales demos, and analyst briefings
  • Lead and elevate product management

    • Set the strategic frame for Product Managers joining your pillar and provide clear direction without removing ownership
    • Coach Product Managers on discovery rigour, commercial thinking, product quality, and effective use of AI
    • Raise the bar for product craft across the wider team and help cross-functional colleagues improve how they build products together
  • Collaborate across the organisation

    • Partner closely with GTM, Engineering, other Product Leads, and AI & Platform teams
    • Represent your pillar’s strategy, performance, and investment case to senior leadership
    • Build alignment across functions around priorities, customer value, and commercial outcomes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
