About Kato

At Kato, we’re not just building software, we're redefining how commercial property works. Our platform powers the UK’s top real estate firms, helping them manage deals faster, smarter, and with total clarity. Backed by leading VCs and real estate experts, Kato is already used in 80% of the UK commercial real estate market and we’re just getting started.

We’re growing fast, building new product lines and unlocking new market segments. This is your opportunity to join at the ground floor of something truly transformative and in a team that values curiosity, creativity, and fast learning.

Our Products

Kato is three products that feed each other. Our CRM runs deal workflows for most of the UK's commercial agents, Marketplace is where requirements and availability meet, and Atlas turns the structured data generated by both into market intelligence. More usage creates more contributed data, which makes every product stronger - that loop is the strategy, and this role sits at the centre.

The Role

We're hiring a product lead to do two things: ship revenue-generating propositions this year, and lead discovery into a new growth area for the product beyond its current market.

Short term, you'll validate and ship a portfolio of near-term commercial opportunities. Longer term, you'll lead demand-side discovery for our core data product, opening up new buying centres and becoming the main growth lever beyond initial product-market fit.

This is a hands-on, revenue-accountable role. You'll be judged on outcomes shipped and revenue landed, not activity.

Our Product Culture

Product at Kato runs on writing and evidence: decisions get made from documents that survive one read, and good thinking beats seniority. We ship customer-visible outcomes and measure ourselves on what landed, not what's underway. AI is woven into how the team works day to day - it's how a small product group covers a big surface at pace. We'll be straight with you: our operating model is still being built, and this role helps set it - the principles, the rhythm, the decision rights. If you'd rather shape a system than inherit one, that's the job.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you’ll do:

  • First 90 days

    • Validate, size, and ready 2-3 propositions.
  • By end of year 1

    • Ship validated propositions into market, contributing measurably to a defined revenue target
    • Deliver against that revenue target in full
    • Kick off demand-side discovery for our core data product: initial buying-centre research and proposition hypotheses
    • Build a pipeline of validated hypotheses ready for year 2 revenue conversion, with a mapped buying-centre landscape (opportunity size, entry points, competitive position)

You'll thrive in this role if you are:

  • AI-native, with AI built into how you work day to day, not bolted on
  • Someone with a track record in fast-moving scaleups, comfortable in ambiguity and without heavy process
  • Revenue-accountable by experience: you've owned a number and hit it, not just supported someone else's
  • A 0-to-1 builder who created and validated new propositions, not only improved existing ones
  • Commercially driven — you sit in on live deals, push for hypotheses in the moment, and ship fast tests rather than waiting for a perfect brief
  • Data-literate: you use data as evidence, size opportunities quantitatively, and read dashboards fluently
  • A decisive writer where your documents get decisions made in one read, no meeting required to interpret them
  • High-agency and you set your own priorities and move without waiting for sign-off
  • Intellectually honest. You know what you know, say when you don't, and calibrate confidence to evidence
  • Someone who coaches as they go and you raise the bar for others through your own work, without needing a formal reporting line

Experience:

  • 10+ years in product management or related role
  • Experience working closely with revenue teams
  • Experience owning revenue targets

This role isn't a fit if

  • Your background is consumer product only
  • You've worked delivery/execution roles without discovery or new-proposition ownership
  • You've only worked in large, established organisations with no scaleup or early-stage exposure
  • You can't commit to 3 days/week in our London office

Nice to have:

  • Experience in proptech, commercial real estate, or agency-driven data workflows
  • Data product experience
  • Product marketing or positioning background
  • In-person and remote working balance
