Product Lead
We're looking for a Product Lead to take full ownership of product vision and roadmap for a fast-growing consumer mobile app in London. The app is a short-form, TikTok-style feed built around AI-generated content, currently scaling through the critical 100K to 1M MAU growth stage. You'll lead a cross-functional team of around ten people and have the final say on what the product becomes, not just how it gets delivered. This is a highly technical, hands-on role: you'll run live A/B experiments, move headline metrics like retention and conversion, and work closely with engineering on trade-offs across mobile, backend, and AI pipelines. It's built for a product-obsessed, Director-level leader who has already taken a consumer social, UGC, or short-form media app through this exact growth stage and wants full ownership of what comes next. Strong technical literacy and genuine product taste are essential, as is comfort making decisions rather than translating someone else's roadmap.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the Project
The company is a fast-growing startup building a TikTok-style mobile feed where the content itself is AI-generated browser games, created and consumed entirely within the app. The product is past initial validation and now scaling through the 100K to 1M MAU stage, where product decisions have an outsized impact on growth. Because the core content pipeline relies on AI generation, the team also has to solve for the QA and release challenges that come with non-deterministic content, which is a meaningfully different problem than a typical consumer app roadmap. The organization is small and moving fast, with a cross-functional team of around ten people who will report into this role. Leadership is looking for someone to own the full product vision end to end, rather than execute a backlog set elsewhere. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership seat in a company at an inflection point in its growth curve.
You Have
- 6+ years in product management, including at least 3 years owning a consumer mobile app across both iOS and Android
- At least 2 years of direct people management experience
- A verifiable track record of scaling a consumer app from 100K to 1M+ MAU, with clear personal impact
- Hands-on experience running live A/B experiments and moving headline metrics like retention or conversion
- Strong technical literacy across mobile, backend, and AI pipelines, enough to engage directly with engineering on trade-offs
- Genuine product taste and a bias toward making product decisions, not just translating a roadmap set by others
- Nice to have: experience with social, UGC, or short-form media apps
- Nice to have: experience shipping a product where the core content is AI-generated
- Nice to have: experience managing non-deterministic AI pipelines and their impact on QA and release planning
