Product Lifecycle Management Specialist (Entry Level or Experienced)

Boeing Defence UK are seeking Product Lifecycle Management Specialists to provide Configuration and Data Management support and guidance across Fixed Wing, Vertical Lift, and Digital Future Systems programmes and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
(Training can be given in all of these areas)
Configuration Management
- Deploy Boeing configuration processes and execute process controls.
- Develop, interpret, and understand customer requirements upfront.
- Plan and implement configuration and data management activities.
- Support deployment of standardized configuration management processes throughout the organization.
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities; support mitigation planning.
- Collaborate to standardize configuration tool sets, including security and access controls.
- Interface with bid and programme teams to integrate configuration management requirements into contract initiation and reviews.
- Provide input on supplier Statements of Work and budgetary/forecast cycles related to configuration management.
Programme-Specific Configuration Management
- Adhere to contracted Configuration and Data Management requirements.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to agree joint working procedures.
- Own configuration deliverables, ensuring compliance with Boeing procedures and contractual obligations.
- Serve as Boeing's point of contact for external Configuration Management audits.
- Manage programme control boards, ensuring consistent conduct and timely action closure.
- Support design reviews and programme reviews with configuration management expertise.

Data Management
- Track and report on data transmissions, ensuring adherence to company and contractual requirements.
- Manage customer and supplier data deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with Export Compliance, Manufacturing License Agreements (MLAs), security, intellectual property, and Boeing information protection policies.
- Support audits and reviews to ensure product compliance.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- High IT literacy.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication skills across verbal, written, and electronic channels at all organizational levels.
- The ability to obtain UK Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Knowledge configuration management, regulatory, and international standards.
- Solid understanding of configuration management and programme management principles and processes.
- Commercial and financial awareness.
- Knowledge of design, testing, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with key functional disciplines, including engineering, operations, customer support training, and procurement.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing planning methods.
- Proven ability to build effective internal and external networks.
- Strong planning and workload management capability.
- Desirable: CMII/CMPIC practitioner certification or equivalent experience/qualification.
