About the Role
As the UK prepares for the introduction of the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS), we are seeking a Product Lifecycle Manager to join our Commercialisation team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role has been created to provide additional project support and capacity as we manage an increased volume of product, packaging and change activity across the business.
Reporting to the Commercialisation Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring product launches, packaging changes and product delists are delivered on time, within budget and in line with customer expectations. Working cross-functionally with teams across NPD, Technical, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Commercial, you will coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders to successfully deliver change in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Responsibilities
- Managing multiple product and packaging change projects from concept through to launch and eventual delist.
- Owning project plans, critical paths and governance processes to ensure successful delivery of milestones.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within agreed timelines.
- Maintaining accurate project registers and providing regular progress updates and reporting.
- Supporting artwork creation, approval processes and packaging compliance requirements.
- Ensuring all product master data is created and maintained with a high degree of accuracy.
- Managing launch activities including packaging transitions, material changes and obsolescence management.
- Escalating project risks and issues that could impact launch timing, cost or customer commitments.
- Working closely with the wider Product Lifecycle team to ensure effective workload management and business continuity.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product change and commercialisation processes.
About You
We're looking for a highly organised project professional who thrives in a fast-moving manufacturing environment and is comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Product Lifecycle, Commercialisation, Project Management or Supply Chain role.
- Experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Strong project management experience with responsibility for complex cross-functional projects.
- Experience working within large multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating stakeholders across multiple sites.
- Demonstrable experience managing product launches, change programmes or lifecycle management activities.
- Understanding of retailer private label product development processes.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage critical data accurately.
