Product Line Manager – Landing Gear

Location

Europe - UK or Ireland

Company Overview

Our client is a leading aviation aftermarket business specialising in the acquisition, management and sale of aircraft parts, engines and assets to airlines, MROs and aviation organisations worldwide.

Job Summary

Following significant private equity investment, our client is looking for a Product Line Manager – Landing Gear to take ownership of a key product line within its growing aviation aftermarket business.

You will drive strategy, acquisitions, inventory performance, repair activity and revenue generation across the Landing Gear product line

Experience Required

  • 5+ years' experience in aviation parts, repairs, or product line management.
  • Strong knowledge of landing gear and aircraft parts.
  • Experience buying, selling, or managing aviation assets and inventory.
  • Good commercial skills and experience improving revenue and margins.
  • Knowledge of Airbus and Boeing aircraft.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Own and grow the Landing Gear product line, driving revenue and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to buy, repair, and sell landing gear assets and inventory.
  • Develop pricing strategies and make sure inventory delivers maximum value.
  • Work closely with Technical and Repairs teams to manage repair activity and return-to-service projects.
  • Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity to find new opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, repair vendors, and customers worldwide.
  • Use data and commercial insight to support business decisions, improve margins, and grow market share.
