Typical Activities
Working within our Product Management team, the Product Management Graduate will join our two-year Graduate Scheme in September 2027, gaining experience across key areas of the business while developing a strong understanding of the full product lifecycle.
Combining rotations across business functions with formal Product Management training, you will:
- Gain exposure to Engineering, Project Management, Commercial, Business Development, Managed Services, Customer Support and Marketing.
- Develop an understanding of how products are conceived, developed, delivered, sold, supported and evolved throughout their lifecycle.
- Complete structured Product Management training covering product strategy, discovery, market analysis, prioritisation, roadmapping, business cases and lifecycle management.
- Research customer needs, market opportunities, competitors, industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Support customer engagement activities to understand user needs, challenges and feedback.
- Assist with defining customer value propositions, product positioning and business cases.
- Support Product Managers with product roadmaps, prioritisation, feature definition and requirements development.
- Take ownership of defined product activities, features or work packages, working closely with Engineering and wider stakeholders.
- Support workshops, reviews, presentations and customer meetings, while producing clear product documentation, analysis and recommendations.
- Contribute to STEM outreach activities, helping to create new initiatives and represent PentenAmio at events.

What we're looking for
- A minimum 2:1 degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business or another relevant STEM or business-related discipline.
- Demonstrable interest in technology, products, business strategy or customer-focused problem solving.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to research, evaluate and communicate information effectively.
- Comfortable gathering and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative information.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation-based communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- An interest in software, digital products and emerging technologies.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and engage effectively with engineering teams.
- An understanding of the importance of customer needs and market opportunities.
- Familiarity with the basic stages of product development, from idea through to delivery and support.

Desirable
- Experience or knowledge of Product Management principles, frameworks or tools.
- Experience undertaking research, market analysis or competitor analysis.
- Experience developing presentations, business cases or recommendations.
- Previous experience working on technology, software or digital products.
- Evidence of involvement in projects, societies, work experience or extracurricular activities demonstrating leadership, collaboration or problem-solving.

Qualifications & Eligibility
To Be Eligible For This Position You Must
- Hold or expect to achieve a minimum 2:1 degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business or another relevant STEM or business-related discipline; and
- Be a British citizen; and
- Hold or be eligible for UK National Security Vetting (NSV) - SC level clearance.
