What is Flagstone?
Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work.
Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It’s our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage.
A feel for our culture:
To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth.
That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it.
We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.
But enough about us. Let’s talk about you.
About The Squad
The Mobile App squad sits within our Engagement Tribe, whose mission is to deepen how clients engage with Flagstone and grow the balances they hold with us. The native mobile app is an important growth area for us, and we're looking for a product manager to lead the squad through an intensive period of building.
Does this sound like you?
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You'll lead the squad, setting the product direction for the mobile app, leading discovery, owning the roadmap, and being the product leader the squad rallies around. You'll report to the Group Product Manager and work closely with both the Group Product Manager and the Tribe Lead on wider tribe strategy, but the direction of the mobile app is yours to shape and deliver.
What you’ll do:
- Shape the mobile app strategy and roadmap, using customer and market insight, and align it to our tribe and company goals.
- Lead product discovery: validate problems with data and research, scope solutions, and connect what you build to measurable outcomes.
- Own delivery end to end for the squad, shipping small and often so we learn quickly and improvements land reliably through the app stores.
- Provide product leadership to the squad: set the standard for how you work, run retrospectives and experiments, and keep raising the bar on quality.
- Own the squad's outcomes and metrics, focused on engagement and deposits, and show how the squad's work contributes to wider company goals.
- Shape stakeholder expectations and secure buy-in across design, engineering, compliance and growth, bringing people with you rather than relying on your title.
- Analyse in-app journeys from a data perspective to find where they fall short and prove the impact of what you launch.
- Work with Compliance, content designers, data analysts and go-to-market experts so that what you ship is compliant, well made, evidence-led and ready for clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
