Product Manager (Contract)
WMS / RedPrairie / Blue Yonder
Location: London – hybrid
Rate: £540 per day, inside IR35
Duration: Minimum 12 months, with potential for extension
Start: ASAP
Anson McCade is recruiting a contract Product Manager to join a leading consultancy, supporting a major UK retailer’s food warehouse operations.
You will take ownership of a live, legacy RedPrairie Warehouse Management System, setting the product direction and delivering improvements while protecting the stability of business-critical warehouse services.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning and prioritising the product backlog, balancing operational needs with enhancements.
- Defining and maintaining the product roadmap.
- Working closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, deliverable product outcomes.
- Protecting the stability and continuity of the live WMS.
- Driving enhancements such as paperless loading through Agile, backlog-led delivery.

What you’ll need
- Proven Product Manager experience within a WMS or supply chain environment.
- Hands-on experience with RedPrairie / Blue Yonder / JDA Warehouse Management Systems is essential, ideally within food or retail.
- Strong experience owning product roadmaps and managing backlogs.
- Experience balancing product enhancements with the stability of live operational systems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate business needs into product requirements.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.

Experience with warehouse automation, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), robotics or legacy WMS modernisation would be beneficial.
