Board Intelligence

Board Intelligence is a technology and advisory firm on a mission to make boards more effective, and through them, build better businesses and benefit society.

Over twenty years we have established ourselves as the market leader in governance and board effectiveness, trusted by more than 80,000 directors, executives, and governance professionals globally, including across the Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and OMX 30. That trust has been earned through depth of insight, rigorous advisory work, and a track record that newer entrants simply cannot replicate.

We have invested in applied AI since 2020, well ahead of the market, and that early conviction has paid off. Our AI-powered platform and smart board advisor give us a competitive advantage that is widening, not narrowing. In 2024, K1 Investment Management, the leading B2B Enterprise SaaS investor, backed us to accelerate that position further. We are now growing fast, with a proven commercial model spanning both mid-market and enterprise, and a product suite that has become a necessary addition in high-stakes board environments.

The people joining us now will shape how we scale. We are deliberate about how we do that. Our founders and leadership team are deeply invested in keeping the culture that got us here: thoughtful, high calibre, and genuinely human. Ambition and balance are not in competition at Board Intelligence.

If you want to work at the intersection of AI and governance, on problems that matter at the highest level, this is a strong place to be.

Our Mission

We unleash the potential of organisations through the science of board effectiveness, building better businesses and benefitting society.

The Role

We are looking for a Product Manager to own a defined product area within our AI-powered platform. This is an individual contributor role for someone who combines strong product fundamentals with genuine curiosity about AI and a clear understanding of how product decisions connect to commercial outcomes.

You will work closely with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to identify the right problems to solve, shape the solutions, and drive adoption. You will be expected to bring a commercial lens to every decision and to contribute actively to how the product team works.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own a product area end to end, from understanding client needs and validating problems through to delivery, launch, and adoption.
  • Identify and prioritise the most impactful problems to solve, balancing client value and business return on investment.
  • Translate research, data, and insight into clear product decisions, partnering with design, user research, and engineering to define feasible and well-scoped solutions.
  • Lead execution from concept through to release, maintaining quality and momentum throughout the delivery cycle.
  • Bring a commercial lens to product decisions, connecting feature investment to business outcomes such as retention, expansion, and new logo growth.
  • Work with AI capabilities throughout the product lifecycle, whether scoping AI-powered features, evaluating model behaviour, or identifying where automation creates genuine user value.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to support go-to-market activity, including shaping messaging, contributing to collateral, and enabling the commercial team to position new capabilities confidently.
  • Define and track success metrics across adoption, client satisfaction, and return on investment, using these to inform future iterations.
  • Represent Board Intelligence with clients and senior users where required, building trust and ensuring the product reflects their evolving needs.
  • Contribute to product team ways of working, sharing knowledge and raising the standard of product practice across the team.

Required Experience

  • Experience in product management in a B2B SaaS environment, with a track record of owning and shipping product improvements that drove measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to lead product strategy for a defined area, owning outcomes without requiring direct line management authority.
  • Commercially minded, able to link product decisions to business performance, revenue impact, and return on investment.
  • Experienced in working with cross-functional teams across design, engineering, sales, and customer success.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI, with practical understanding of how AI capabilities can be applied to solve real user problems. Experience working on AI-powered features or products is a strong advantage.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to and engaging with senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Analytical and evidence-driven, with the ability to move from data and research to clear decisions and prioritised roadmaps.
  • Collaborative and self-directing, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, scaling environment where priorities can shift.
  • Brings initiative and ownership, with the ability to hold both the detail and the strategic picture simultaneously.
