Product Manager at ASSA ABLOY Key and Asset Management (KAM)

What you would do as our Product Manager
As a Product Manager you will be responsible for developing different requirements for our project, acting as the voice of the customers for user needs throughout the entire product lifecycle. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager (KAM Software), you will collaborate with different departments inside the organization and use your technical expertise to help us grow.
You would also be responsible for:
- Taking ownership of the development of requirements for NPI/CPI projects under the guidance of the Senior Product Manager and maintaining accountability across all project gateway stages—from initiation through to product launch—while also quantifying post-launch performance.
- Ensuring continuous alignment with regional stakeholders, effectively communicating any changes or updates in a timely manner, and building trusted, effective relationships to gain stakeholder confidence.
- Collaborating closely with product owners and R&D teams to deliver the optimal balance of cost, quality, and speed to market. Supporting the prioritization of the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility, while ensuring ongoing alignment with evolving requirements and resolving changes early and appropriately.
- Acting as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, advocating for user needs and working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches and strong market adoption.
- While not directly responsible for operations, maintaining accountability from a product perspective by ensuring strong alignment with operational teams. Regularly communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders and leadership to maintain transparency and momentum.

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proved experience in Product Management.
- Has experience in software products. Experience with hardware products and/or exposure to AI-assisted software development tools will be an advantage.
- Has the ability to build relationships and communicate with stakeholders.
- Can prioritize time to focus on the most important issues at the right time.
- Is good at collaborating with a team and a proactive problem-solver.
- Has a bachelor’s degree in an engineering or other relevant subject is a plus.
