Job Description

Role: Product Manager

Rate: £435/day (Inside IR35)

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days/week on-site)

About The Role

We are seeking an SC-cleared Product Manager to lead the Fraud Prevention Centre initiative on the Government Gateway platform. In this role, you will balance user needs with business goals to deliver high-value outcomes, while maintaining and prioritizing backlogs across projects. You will work closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and Business Analysts to drive delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Delivery: Frame core problems by combining multidisciplinary feedback, user needs, and strategic business goals to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Backlog and Prioritization: Define and manage team priorities, ensuring requirements are clearly captured in Jira and Confluence (including hands-on Business Analyst support when required).
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate directly with stakeholders and delivery teams to align vision and expectations.
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure team outputs comply with all relevant government service and security standards.

Key Requirements

  • Active SC Clearance (essential).
  • Proven track record as a Product Manager within the UK public sector (Government Gateway experience is highly desirable).
  • Ability to blend agile product management with practical business analysis tasks.
  • Strong cross-functional team leadership and stakeholder management skills.
