We’re looking for a user-focused and data-driven Product Manager to lead a key product within the DWP Insights Programme.
This role is all about ensuring users can access timely, accurate and actionable insights – through management information products - that drive better outcomes and support DWP's ambition to become increasingly data-driven.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
- Experience of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and actively contributing to strategic discussions at senior level with a focus on data
- Experience of creating and communicating a product vision and roadmap, getting stakeholder buy in
- Experience of making effective choices based on incomplete information using a range of suitable techniques
- Experience of prioritising backlogs based on user needs, value and effort
You and your role
Working within DWP Insights, part of the Data & Analytics Group, you will shape the vision, strategy and delivery of Management Information (MI), reporting and visualisation products that support decision-making across the Department.

The DWP MI Service is used by more than 22,000 colleagues, from frontline operational managers to senior leaders, the Executive Team and Ministers, making it one of the Department's most widely used an high-profile services.
You will own the product strategy and roadmaps, make evidence-based prioritisation decisions, and work closely with stakeholders and users to ensure products deliver measurable value.
You’ll monitor performance against agreed outcomes, coordinating delivery across multiple products, and ensuring services meet high standards of quality, accessibility and user experience.
You will build strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners, communicate product performance and priorities effectively, and use data, evidence and user insight to drive decision-making.
And as a people leader, you’ll build an inclusive environment, develop your team and champion continuous learning and improvement.

Location: You’ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model – you'll spend some time working at home (40%) and some time collaborating face to face in a hub (60%)
Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £68,205.
Pension: You’ll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.
