Product Manager
We're hiring a Product Manager to join our growing team and drive value and rigour into our roadmap for our OneView product, which is used to support Xantura's mission to reduce societal inequality through improved use of data & insight.
We're a small business and we're scaling, already grown massively over the past year. That means we want someone with a broad experience, able to contribute at both a strategic and operational level and work effectively with ambiguity. Initially, this will be the only dedicated Product Manager in the company and so represents a genuine opportunity to shape and develop the function, working closely alongside the Director of Platform.
Key Responsibilities
Product Delivery
- Set clear priorities and desired outcomes for sprint planning, backlog refinement and reviews, ensuring work supports the product roadmap.
- Resolve product blockers by making timely scope and priority decisions, clarifying stakeholder needs and documenting recurring product issues.
- Act as the Scrum Master in leading ceremonies and coaching on good practices.
- Define and interpret product and delivery measures, including adoption, value, completion and quality, and use the evidence to adjust priorities.
- Communicate the product direction, priorities, requirements and dependencies within and across the teams.
- Maintain a transparent roadmap and ordered backlog, protecting teams from unclear requests and unnecessary changes in priority.
- Manage product documentation, decision records and stakeholder updates.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Product Strategy
- Own a designated part of the Platform roadmap, tied to defined business outcomes.
- Translate company objectives, customer needs and commercial priorities into a clear product strategy, roadmap and measurable outcomes.
- Support the Director of Platform with product planning, cross-team coordination, forecasting and reporting.
- Resolve competing product priorities and cross-team dependencies, making or recommending trade-offs based on value, risk and evidence.
- Own backlog prioritisation, requirement clarity, acceptance criteria and forward product planning, ensuring work is valuable and ready for delivery.
- Develop and embed proportionate product discovery, prioritisation and decision-making practices as the business scales.
What are we looking for?
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Solid experience as a Product Manager, ideally within a data-rich, analytics product.
- Business awareness. You can see past your own team to how the work supports wider company goals.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain new ideas and reasoning clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience of multiple software delivery models.

- Experience coaching teams through change, transformation and improvement.
- Experience working within an Agentic SDLC environment would be a plus.
- PM and Scrum certifications are welcome but not essential.
