Are you a technically minded Product Manager who thrives on taking ownership of products and features, working closely with Engineering and QA, and turning complex requirements into solutions that deliver real value for users?
Transport Exchange Group (TEG) is seeking an experienced and commercially aware Product Manager – Exchange, to join our growing Product team in London.
This is a hands-on Product Management role with responsibility for taking ownership of products and features to drive Member adoption and ongoing improvements.
You will work closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Business Analysts, and wider stakeholders, translating business and Member requirements into clearly defined product requirements, prioritising development activity, and ensuring products and features continue to evolve in line with user and business needs.
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical understanding, product ownership, and analytical thinking with the ability to work effectively across technical and commercial teams.

Responsibilities:
As a Product Manager – Exchange, you will:
- Take ownership of products and features, ensuring they deliver value to our Members and support TEG's wider product and commercial objectives.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned products and features, driving Member adoption and ongoing improvements.
- Develop a detailed understanding of our products, users, business processes, and technical dependencies.
- Translate business and Member requirements into clear, structured, and actionable product requirements.
- Define and communicate product requirements, acceptance criteria, and expected outcomes to Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders.
- Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring development activity is focused on the highest-value opportunities.
- Work closely with Engineering and QA throughout development to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support effective delivery.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and wider stakeholders to understand problems, analyse requirements, and determine appropriate solutions.
- Use product data, Member feedback, and business insight to identify opportunities for improvements and new functionality.
- Monitor the performance and adoption of products and features and use insight to determine where further improvements are required.
- Identify and investigate product issues, understanding root causes, and working with technical teams to determine appropriate solutions.
- Balance technical considerations, Member requirements, and commercial priorities when making product decisions.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and communicate product priorities, decisions, progress, and dependencies clearly.
- Support the successful introduction of product changes and ensure relevant teams understand new functionality and improvements.
- Continuously challenge how our products and processes can be improved and bring forward practical ideas for innovation.
- Maintain clear product documentation and ensure requirements and decisions are accurately captured.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Product Manager within a software, SaaS, or technology environment is essential.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working directly with Engineering and QA teams.
- Demonstrable experience taking ownership of software products and features and driving their ongoing development and improvement.
- Experience gathering, analysing, and translating complex business and user requirements into clear product requirements.
- Strong experience managing and prioritising product backlogs, requirements, and competing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex problems and make evidence-based decisions.
- Sufficient technical understanding to confidently discuss requirements, dependencies, constraints, and solutions with Engineering teams.
- Experience using product data, customer feedback, and other insight to inform product decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how product decisions influence adoption, customer experience, and business performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership and accountability for your product area.
- Experience within B2B SaaS, marketplaces, logistics, or transportation technology would be advantageous.

The salary for this role is up to £70,000, depending on experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
Working Conditions:
