Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager based in the United Kingdom.

This is a hands-on product role focused on owning the day-to-day development and operations of a student-facing digital platform.

  • Translate feedback from students, families, coaches, customer success, and operations into clear product requirements and actionable engineering work.
  • The role combines backlog ownership, product documentation, ticket creation, scope management, QA coordination, launch readiness, and post-release improvement.
  • Work closely with engineering and UX/design teams while acting as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Success in this role depends on strong organization, excellent written communication, attention to detail, and a consistent bias toward shipping meaningful improvements.

You will join a fully remote, distributed environment collaborating across European and U.S. time zones.

This is an opportunity to directly improve the experience of students, families, coaches, and internal teams through thoughtful, well-executed product development.

Accountabilities

  • Own and continuously maintain the product backlog, including bugs, feature requests, enhancements, operational requirements, and feedback from students, coaches, customer success, operations, and leadership.
  • Translate business needs, user feedback, and operational pain points into clear product requirements, prioritized backlog items, and actionable development work.
  • Create and maintain PRDs, feature briefs, user stories, rollout documentation, acceptance criteria, and other product documentation.
  • Write detailed engineering tickets that clearly define the problem, expected and actual behavior, scope, out-of-scope items, edge cases, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
  • Review incoming product requests and bug reports, reproduce issues where necessary, identify duplicates, and ensure that problems are documented accurately before entering development.
  • Break larger product initiatives into practical, shippable phases while maintaining clear priorities and controlling scope.
  • Partner with engineering and UX/design teams to assess feasibility, clarify requirements, review designs, resolve blockers, and keep product development moving.
  • Facilitate product working sessions with engineering and technical leads to triage, scope, prioritize, and prepare work for development.
  • Coordinate QA activities, verify fixes and new functionality after deployment, and ensure issues are properly retested before and after release.
  • Support launch readiness by coordinating access rules, permissions, cohort logic, phased rollouts, release requirements, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Prepare clear internal launch announcements and feature updates that explain what changed, why it matters, and how different teams should use or respond to the changes.
  • Monitor post-launch feedback, identify recurring issues and themes, and translate learnings into future product improvements.
  • Act as an effective bridge between engineering, design, customer-facing teams, operations, and leadership, ensuring everyone has the context needed to make decisions and execute effectively.
  • Maintain strong product operations discipline by keeping priorities, documentation, follow-ups, and delivery status organized and visible.
  • Use AI-powered tools where appropriate to improve product documentation, research, ticket creation, workflows, and day-to-day product operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
