Company Description

Experian is a global data and technology company, powering opportunities for people and businesses around the world. Experian invests in people and new advanced technologies to unlock the power of data. We have an amazing team of 25,200 people in 32 countries.

Job Description

We are looking for a Product Manager to support the strategy, development, and commercial success of our Consumer Information and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform, one of our newest and most exciting products. You will take full end-to-end ownership of a growing solution that helps customers make faster, smarter, and more efficient affordability decisions.

Reporting into our Head of Product, you will play a key role in identifying market opportunities, understanding customer needs, and shaping the product roadmap to deliver measurable value for both customers and the business. Working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation across the full lifecycle while balancing customer requirements, technical feasibility, regulatory considerations, and commercial objectives.

You will be naturally inquisitive and innovative, with a passion for solving problems and continuously improving customer outcomes. An advocate for the use of AI, machine learning, and automation to enhance our product capabilities and create competitive advantage.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Consumer Information and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform, aligning product investments to business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Drive market, customer, competitor, and industry research to identify emerging trends, unmet customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation, growth, and differentiation.
  • Lead product discovery activities, translating customer insight, data, and commercial opportunities into prioritised product requirements, user stories, and roadmap initiatives.
  • Own the commercial performance of the product, developing business cases, assessing ROI, supporting pricing and proposition decisions, and ensuring products deliver measurable customer and business value.
  • Define, monitor, and optimise product KPIs, using data-driven insights to improve adoption, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, revenue growth, and value realisation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, building strong relationships and using customer feedback, market insight, and usage analytics to shape product strategy.
  • Collaborate effectively with Commercial, Sales, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Data Science, and Executive stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure successful delivery of strategic outcomes.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, and automation to enhance product capabilities, improve customer outcomes, increase operational efficiency, and create competitive advantage.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage product, commercial, operational, and regulatory risks while influencing senior stakeholders to drive alignment, secure investment, and support strategic product decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
