OUR MISSION
To become the car-changing destination of choice. By combining technology, media and deep automotive expertise, we've turned how people buy, sell, advertise and lease cars on its head.
What started as a simple reviews site is now one of the largest online car-changing destinations in Europe. Last year alone we grew over 50% with nearly £3bn worth of cars bought on site, while £1.8bn of cars were listed for sale through our Sell My Car service.
In 2024 we went big and acquired Autovia - creators of AutoExpress and Evo magazines - doubling our audience overnight. Together we now have one of the biggest YouTube channels in the world with almost 10m subscribers and over 1.1 billion annual views, while we sell 1.2 million print copies of our magazines and have an annual web content reach over 350million.
And we’re a long way from done!
THE ROLE
Buying and selling a car should feel like one seamless motion for a dealer, not two separate systems. Right now it's the opposite: a dealer buys through us, then has to manage collection, payment and resale largely on their own, stitching together workflows across multiple platforms and channels, much of it manual.
For a dealer, speed is money. Every extra day a car sits before it's collected, priced, and paid for is a day of depreciation, tied-up capital, and a missed chance to buy the next one. If we can get a dealer from 'I've bought this car' to 'it's ready and paid for' faster through transport and collections, quicker final pricing, and Wallet, we make them more profitable. A dealer who's more profitable because of Carwow has little reason to go elsewhere: they'll lean on us more, and churn less.
This role owns that last-mile agenda: getting cars collected quickly, resolving final price without friction, and making Wallet work the way dealers expect it to. This team sits across our ambitions to make car changing a seamless journey, this role's job is the handover itself: the operational moment between buying and being ready to sell again. This is also a moment where AI changes what's possible. Dealers are already asking for smarter scheduling, less manual chasing, and tools that reduce the overhead of running a business. We want to build those things. The PM in this role will need the curiosity to explore what that could look like, and the rigour to distinguish genuine value from noise. If you want to own an operational product area end to end, work with some of the most sophisticated buyers in UK retail, and build things that have a direct line to commercial outcomes, this is it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Product Strategy & Execution:
- Own the product direction for Carwow's dealer-facing product, defining what we build, in what order, and why
- Lead discovery work with dealers, interviews, on-site visits, data analysis to build a precise understanding of where we can add the most value
- Identify and test opportunities to bring AI into dealer workflows: smarter recommendations, vehicle pricing, performance insights that actually change behaviour
- Collaborate with Tech Lead, Designer, and Engineers to ship well-scoped solutions with clear success metrics
- Manage the backlog with commercial awareness prioritising work that drives engagement, retention, and revenue, not just activity
Partner Engagement & Insight:
- Build relationships with key dealer partners and use those relationships to validate product direction before we build
- Work with Account Management and Sales to understand what's driving churn, what's blocking adoption, and what would make carwow stickier
- Translate qualitative partner feedback into structured product insight; don't just collect opinions, turn them into decisions
Cross-functional Leadership:
- Work across product, engineering, commercial, and marketing to align on priorities and ship coherently
- Communicate strategy and trade-offs clearly to leadership and stakeholders, written as well as verbal
- Support the commercial team on partner conversations where product context matters: capability deep-dives, roadmap discussions, strategic accounts
What We're Looking For
- 1.5+ years of product management experience in a B2B or SaaS environment, with evidence of improving engagement or retention metrics
- Hands-on experience with product discovery: you run your own interviews, interrogate your own data, and form your own hypotheses rather than waiting for research to land in your inbox
- Genuine curiosity about AI, you follow what's happening, you have a point of view on where it adds real value, and you're eager to experiment
- Comfort with ambiguity: this role involves defining the problem as much as solving it, and the scope will evolve
- Strong stakeholder instincts, you can build trust with commercial teams, technical partners, and senior stakeholders without losing your own point of view
- Clear written and verbal communication; you can explain a complex trade-off simply and bring people with you
