Product Manager (NPD)

Are you passionate about creating products that consumers genuinely love? Are you highly curious about beauty and trends? Do you enjoy taking an idea from initial concept through to launch, working with multiple teams to bring innovative products to market? If you're commercially-minded, creative, naturally organised and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you’re going to love this job. It comes with a salary genuinely aligned with the value you bring, and as such we have decided not to limit ourselves to a salary bracket at this point. The company operates a hybrid model (2 days in office – or more if you fancy!) and a good benefits package.

The Company

Our client is a well-established and highly respected consumer products business with an impressive portfolio of personal care/toiletries brands enjoyed by customers across the UK and internationally. As a family-owned business, they have built a reputation for combining innovation, quality and speed to market, continually investing in the development of exciting new products that keep them ahead of consumer trends.

Collaboration sits at the heart of everything they do. Their Product Development team works closely with Design, Marketing, Technical, Category, Commercial, Supply Chain and Manufacturing partners around the world to transform great ideas into successful retail products. If you enjoy working in a business where your ideas are valued and your contribution genuinely makes a difference, this is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, agile and ambitious team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of New Product Development, you'll play a key role in delivering both New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) projects across a diverse consumer product portfolio. From identifying emerging trends and developing product concepts through to managing supplier relationships, coordinating development samples and supporting successful product launches, you'll be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle.

No two days will be the same. One day you could be researching the latest consumer trends or visiting exhibitions to identify new opportunities, while the next you could be presenting product concepts, panelling fragrance or product submissions, coordinating cross-functional project meetings or managing artwork approvals ready for production.

You'll work collaboratively across Design, Marketing, Technical, Operations, Category, Supply Chain and Commercial teams, ensuring projects remain on track, commercially viable and delivered to market on time. You'll also build strong relationships with UK & international manufacturing partners and suppliers, helping to bring innovative ideas to life while maintaining exceptional attention to detail throughout the development process.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing creativity with project management, combining consumer insight with commercial thinking and taking ownership of multiple exciting projects at once.

About You

You will be passionate about the world of beauty first and foremost, and already have at least 2 years experience within Product Development, New Product Development (NPD), Product Management or Project Management in an FMCG environment and be confident managing multiple projects simultaneously. You'll naturally enjoy spotting emerging trends and understanding what consumers want next, using those insights to help shape commercially successful products. Equally comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you'll be an excellent communicator who enjoys building strong working relationships.
