Murphy AI
Murphy AI deploys voice AI agents that help banks collect debt. We’ve built a fully-fledged platform designed to optimize recovery rates while maintaining respectful and personalized communication. Our advanced automation streamlines the process of collecting overdue invoices for banks and other industries, providing a seamless and effective solution.
Our AI-powered agents adapt instantly, engaging with debtors across channels like voice, messengers, email, and SMS to maximize results while preserving trust. By combining advanced artificial intelligence with powerful automation, we’re setting a new standard for how businesses recover payments.
As a fast-growing startup that has already made an impact within less than a year in the market, we are building a talented team to scale our operations and drive our vision forward 🌟
About the Role
We're looking for a Product Manager to own a core piece of Murphy, end to end, like a founder would. This is a founding product seat on the most advanced AI product in a $300B+ market — a small product function, an outsized mandate, and the category as your ceiling.
Murphy builds AI voice agents that collect overdue debt for banks: more recovered, faster, cheaper, fully compliant, and respectful to the debtor. We're live with Santander, Revolut, BBVA, and dozens of others. We've proven the product in large-scale pilots with top-tier banks — now we're turning a service into a product, and we need product builders to own each surface.
What you'll do
- Own a product end to end. Strategy, roadmap, execution, launch, iterate — you're the CEO of your product, accountable for the business outcomes, not just its ship dates.
- Make the voice AI agents more efficient. Own the loop: customer segments, experiments on voice, cadence and script, and the evals that prove a change is real before it ships to a bank.
- Build with AI as the primitive. Prototypes, not design mock-ups; wire agents into the product itself; use AI to design, build and ship faster than a team of 12 people.
- Turn services into product. Today a new bank goes live through weeks of hand-configuration by our engineers. Convert it into a scalable product.
- Dive deep and problem solve. Get to the roots of complex problems, understand all the nuances, and design solutions that solve the root cause elegantly.
- Be an inspiring leader for engineers and data scientists.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who you are
- A builder, whatever your title says. You've taken products 0→1 and scaled them past launch whether as a founder, or PM, or engineer.
- You own outcomes, and you never settle. You turn ambiguity into a clear plan, and hold a high quality bar under speed.
- You have a STEM degree, and you were top of your class. You’re technical and have a strong philosophy of a champion.
- AI-native. You're deeply curious about AI, already build with it daily, and think in agents — not "add an AI feature". You know exactly where AI gets sloppy. You never let that through, and you control quality rigorously.
- You don't need a collections or fintech background. We'd rather teach the domain to a killer product builder than hire a domain lifer who can't ship.
