Product Manager – Insurtech | London, hybrid (1–2 days a week)
We're working with a growing London Market insurtech whose platform is used every day by specialty underwriting and operations teams. It's a deep, process-heavy product, so insurance knowledge matters as much as product skills.
They're building out their product function and hiring a Product Manager to own a significant area of the platform, working closely with the clients who rely on it.
What you'll do
- Own and prioritise the backlog, balancing client needs with commercial goals
- Write user stories and tickets with tight acceptance criteria for engineering
- Lead discovery sessions with clients and SMEs, turning real-world insurance processes into clear requirements
- Lead client meetings, capturing feedback and demoing progress
- Work with engineers and designers to keep delivery moving, and help shape the roadmap and release plans
- Represent the needs of underwriters and ops teams in every product decision

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
