We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Product & Marketing team, playing a key role in shaping the future of the Mercedes-Benz Truck product portfolio in the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual who thrives on analyzing market trends, developing compelling product propositions, and working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver business growth.
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the market positioning of the Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle product range within the UK market.
Working closely with colleagues across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Daimler Truck AG, you will analyze market trends, identify product opportunities, and develop strategies that maximize the commercial success of our products throughout their lifecycle.
You will act as a product expert and brand ambassador, ensuring our products remain competitively positioned and aligned with customer and market needs.
What You'll Be Doing
Market Analysis & Product Strategy
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Support business planning and product development activities through data-driven insights.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide recommendations to strengthen market position.
- Represent the business at relevant industry forums and trade associations where required.

Product Management & Pricing
- Manage the positioning and development of current and future product ranges.
- Work closely with Sales Technical Engineers and key stakeholders to optimize specifications and product offerings for the UK market.
- Develop and maintain pricing strategies across vehicle models and options.
- Deliver competitor pricing analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Help define and communicate the value proposition of the Mercedes-Benz Truck portfolio.
Marketing & Product Support
- Develop product content for sales literature, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Support dealer networks and internal teams with product and pricing expertise.
- Provide product training and presentations to a variety of audiences.
- Support exhibitions, customer events, and industry shows.

Qualifications
About You
We're looking for someone who combines commercial awareness with strong analytical and communication skills.
You will ideally have:
- Experience managing complex product portfolios, ideally within the automotive or commercial vehicle sector.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience influencing and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of product positioning, pricing, and market analysis.
- A collaborative approach with a passion for delivering customer-focused solutions.
- The ability to think strategically whilst remaining commercially pragmatic.
Desirable
- Commercial vehicle industry experience.
- Relevant automotive qualifications.
- HGV licence.
- Membership of a relevant professional body.
