As a Product Manager at Quilter Invest, you'll be joining a growing and ambitious fintech Product team.

You will be the key link between our customers, stakeholders and development team. You will help shape our shared product backlog, define features and prioritise work that delivers maximum value.

Our Product Managers represent our customers to the rest of the business, this means understanding their pain points, what delights them, and how we can better serve their needs.

We want to ensure brighter financial futures for everyone who uses our products, this is the challenge we set ourselves and strive to achieve.

This role will see you exposed to customers, development teams, stakeholders across all departments, and the insights needed to make evidence-based decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Plan

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and work towards the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Contribute and manage the product backlog, ensuring it’s aligned with the product roadmap and business objectives, and that features are prioritised to deliver the most value.
  • Lead market research, identify customer problems and opportunities, and generate innovative solutions that contribute to product strategy.

Create

  • Inform design implementation that best supports our customers, with the user’s experience at the centre of every decision.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs and regulatory requirements are met while balancing competing priorities.
  • Write clear, concise, and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure the development team understands what to build and why.
  • Lead a cross-functional squad of engineers, designers and delivery resources, taking ownership of priorities, fostering collaboration and supporting successful delivery.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to support product discovery, ideation, research, documentation and stakeholder communications, applying appropriate judgement to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and development team to remove disruption and ensure timely delivery of features.

Analyse

  • Create surveys, gather feedback and engage directly with customers to better understand their needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and manage analytics to measure product performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Perform experiments and analyse results to optimise experiences, understand behaviours and identify new opportunities.
  • Assist with research and insights, analyse customer behaviours and patterns, as well as industry trends, to help identify customer pain points

About You

You're an enthusiastic and results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You're comfortable balancing multiple priorities, challenging constructively and communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

We're looking for someone with strong customer empathy, a curious mindset and a passion for creating intuitive experiences.

Skills & Experience

What we’re looking for

  • Experience shaping and delivering customer-focused products, services or digital solutions, either a Product Manager or in a related role.
  • Experience working with software development teams and understanding the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience working with mobile-first applications.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
