Account Manager of Acudo & Product Manager of e164

Location: Remote, within UTC ±1. You must be online and contactable during UK office hours.
Salary: £45,000–£55,000
Experience: 5+ years in B2B account management, customer success, product management or a similar commercial role

Acudo brings over 25 years of telecommunications expertise to phone number validation, fraud prevention and SMS messaging. Formerly 3G Telecommunications, founded in 2005, it helps businesses worldwide improve customer data accuracy, reduce wasted communications and connect with customers reliably. We’re primarily based in Leeds and offer flexible hybrid working.

We’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Account Manager and Product Manager to own our customer relationships while leading the development and growth of e164.com. e164.com is a numbering plan product and sub-brand of Acudo. You’ll take ownership of its direction: the product roadmap, working closely with our technical team on development, and building its position in both existing and new markets. Alongside this, you’ll manage and grow Acudo’s customer base. You’ll spot fast-growing customers before they become major accounts, catch declining usage before it becomes churn, and move the right customers from transactional buying into managed, contracted relationships you then own and grow. This is a hands-on role combining account management, commercial product leadership and go-to-market responsibility. We’ll teach you our products and market; you should already know how to manage a portfolio, manage a pipeline and have real commercial conversations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you’ll do

Account management and growth

  • Own the relationships with our most important and highest-potential customers.
  • Watch usage for the customers who are growing fast - including those crossing key volume thresholds - and reach out before they become major accounts.
  • Move suitable customers from self-service into managed, contracted relationships, then own that portfolio's retention and growth to a revenue target.
  • Spot declining or lapsed customers early, find out why, and win them back.
  • Identify upsell and coverage opportunities by genuinely understanding what customers are trying to achieve.
  • Keep our CRM (Brevo) accurate so no lead, quote or opportunity slips through.
  • Turn customer behaviour into insight the wider business can act on.

e164 product management

  • Lead the ongoing development of e164.com and take ownership of its product direction.
  • Liaise closely with developers throughout the product-development process, helping to clarify requirements, review progress and support successful delivery.
  • Balance customer requests, technical considerations and commercial value when prioritising development.
  • Define and strengthen e164’s market position, value proposition and target audiences.
  • Develop and execute plans to market the product and increase awareness, adoption and revenue.
  • Research and validate new use cases, customer segments, partnerships and geographic markets for e164.

What success looks like

  • Our biggest customers have a genuine commercial relationship with us, not simply access to a support inbox.
  • Fast-growing customers are identified and engaged before they become major accounts.
  • Declining and lapsed customers are identified early, re-engaged and won back.
  • Valuable leads and opportunities are not lost through a lack of ownership or follow-up.
  • The technical team receives well-defined, commercially grounded development priorities.
  • e164 has a strong and differentiated position in the market.
  • New audiences, use cases and markets are identified, tested and developed.
  • Product adoption, customer value and commercial performance improve over time.

About you

  • 5+ years in B2B account management, customer success or similar - comfortable owning a portfolio independently.
  • Commercially minded and motivated by retaining and growing revenue.
  • Naturally curious about why customers behave as they do, and analytical enough to spot the change in the numbers.
  • Confident on pricing, volumes and contracts; persistent without being pushy.
  • Highly organised and disciplined with a CRM.
  • Comfortable learning technical products and translating between customers and internal teams.
  • Telecoms, data, SaaS or API experience is a plus, not a must.

The opportunity

You'll have visibility across our whole customer base - from growing self-service users to established enterprise accounts - and a direct hand in retention, growth and revenue. We want someone who'll know our customers, notice when something changes, ask why, and do something about it.
