The Product Manager – Agentic Commerce
The Product Manager – Agentic Commerce will lead the strategy, development, commercialization, and ongoing evolution of agentic commerce products, with a primary focus on merchant-facing AI agents and an expanded focus on consumer wallet agents.
This role will define how autonomous and semi-autonomous agents can represent merchants and consumers throughout the commerce journey, from discovery and engagement through transaction execution, payment optimization, servicing, and post-purchase experiences.

How we work:
We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.
Job responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end Agentic Commerce product strategy and roadmap, translating emerging AI and commerce trends into differentiated, commercially viable products.
- Define the role of merchant agents across the broader commerce lifecycle, including customer acquisition, product discovery, conversion, payments, loyalty, servicing, dispute management, and retention.
- Develop consumer wallet agent capabilities that act on behalf of consumers to manage payments, funding sources, offers, rewards, subscriptions, transaction preferences, and other wallet-based financial interactions.
- Define how merchant agents, consumer agents, payment agents, and external AI ecosystems interact, including agent discovery, authentication, permissions, negotiation, transaction authorization, identity, trust, and information exchange.
- Identify and prioritize agentic use cases based on customer value, revenue potential, strategic differentiation, market readiness, technical feasibility, and right-to-win.
- Own market research, competitive intelligence, customer discovery, and emerging technology assessment across agentic commerce, AI agents, payments, digital wallets, embedded commerce, and autonomous transactions.
- Develop business cases and commercial models for new agentic capabilities, including market sizing, revenue opportunities, pricing models, investment requirements, adoption assumptions, and financial returns.
- Establish product requirements and work with Engineering, Architecture, AI/Data teams, and strategic partners to translate product vision into scalable capabilities and market-ready solutions.
- Partner with Payments teams to define how agents interact with and optimize across cards, wallets, account-to-account payments, alternative payment methods, proprietary payment rails, and emerging agentic payment protocols.
- Define the commercial and economic decisioning capabilities that allow agents to optimize outcomes based on factors such as conversion, authorization probability, fraud risk, payment cost, customer preference, merchant economics, settlement speed, and customer lifetime value.
- Establish frameworks for agent identity, permissions, authentication, security, privacy, explainability, auditability, and human oversight in partnership with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Security, and Privacy teams.
- Identify and manage strategic technology and ecosystem partnerships required to accelerate agentic commerce capabilities and distribution.
- Lead product commercialization, including positioning, pricing, packaging, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, launch readiness, and customer adoption.
- Engage directly with merchants, partners, platforms, wallet providers, AI companies, payment networks, and other ecosystem participants to validate requirements and identify emerging opportunities.
- Define KPIs and continuously measure product performance across adoption, transaction volume, conversion, revenue, margin, engagement, automation, customer experience, and merchant outcomes.
- Serve as an SME and internal thought leader on agentic commerce and the future of AI-driven payments and commerce, helping shape enterprise strategy and investment priorities.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of product management experience, preferably within payments, fintech, digital commerce, wallets, marketplaces, embedded finance, or AI-enabled products.
- Demonstrated experience owning products from strategy and ideation through development, commercialization, launch, and ongoing performance management.
- Strong understanding of merchant commerce and payments, including acquiring, payment acceptance, wallets, payment orchestration, fraud/risk, and digital customer journeys.
- Working knowledge of AI agents, generative AI, LLMs, agent orchestration, APIs, and emerging agentic commerce models; deep engineering expertise is not required.
- Experience developing business cases, market assessments, pricing strategies, commercial models, and product investment recommendations.
- Strong ability to translate complex technologies into clear customer value propositions and commercially viable products.
- Experience working across Engineering, Architecture, Data, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Sales, and Marketing organizations.
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to engage merchants, partners, executives, and technology providers.
- Comfortable operating in an emerging product category where standards, technologies, customer expectations, and competitive dynamics are rapidly evolving.
- Proven track record of independently owning complex products and product portfolios end-to-end, applying a structured product management approach across market discovery, strategy, prioritization, business planning, delivery, commercialization, and lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated ability to turn market, customer, competitive, and technology insights into a clear product strategy, roadmap, investment priorities, and measurable commercial outcomes.
