We are looking for a Product Manager, AI & Data – Trade & Channels
You will join our Product Management organisation in London on a hybrid basis. This is a high-impact role reporting to the Head of AI & Data Products, focused on shaping the strategy, roadmap, and execution of AI, data, and integration capabilities across Finastra’s Trade and Channels solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can combine strong product management discipline with a passion for data, automation, analytics, and emerging AI technologies, and who thrives at the intersection of customer needs, technical delivery, and commercial outcomes.
About the Role
In this role, you will manage the full product lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring solutions align with customer needs, market opportunities, regulatory requirements, and business priorities. You will identify opportunities to use data, AI, analytics, automation, and integration capabilities to improve customer outcomes, streamline operations, and accelerate business growth.
You will act as a connector across Product, Engineering, Data & Analytics, Architecture, Commercial, Client, and Implementation teams, bringing clarity and structure to cross-functional initiatives. You will help enhance product value, improve interoperability, and support Finastra’s broader AI and platform modernisation strategy across Trade and Channels solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product roadmap for AI, data, and integration capabilities within Trade and Channels products.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from market assessment and business case development through go-to-market execution, adoption, and continuous enhancement.
- Develop product strategies that support customer growth, operational efficiency, revenue objectives, and broader platform modernisation priorities.
- Identify market opportunities through customer feedback, market research, competitive analysis, advisory forums, workshops, and industry trends.
- Translate business requirements into prioritised product features, user stories, product enhancements, and measurable success metrics.
- Identify and evaluate AI, machine learning, automation, analytics, and data-led use cases that improve customer experiences, risk management, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Data & Analytics, Engineering, and Architecture teams to define data requirements, integration requirements, APIs, workflows, interoperability standards, and AI model deployment needs.
- Ensure AI and data capabilities are scalable, secure, and aligned with responsible AI standards, governance requirements, regulatory expectations, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Support cross-product integration initiatives that connect Trade and Channels solutions with other Lending and Banking products.
- Serve as a key product contact for customers, sales teams, implementation teams, and industry stakeholders, supporting product positioning, messaging, demonstrations, collateral, and sales enablement.
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving Product Strategy, Engineering, Architecture, Commercial, Client Services, Marketing, and customer-facing teams.
- Provide ongoing reporting and executive updates on roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, product performance, adoption, customer value realisation, and business outcomes.
- Develop documentation, release plans, feature specifications, business cases, and operational processes that support product delivery and continuous improvement.
- Support vendor evaluation and strategic technology partnerships where appropriate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
