Product Manager

Location: Within a day's travel of one of our offices, London, Amsterdam (Hoofddorp), Brussel.

Help build how the world of work changes.

We are rebuilding how work gets done — how organisations find talent, how people find work, and how the two meet — at a scale most companies never get near. This is one of the most ambitious transformations in our industry, and we are early enough that the people who join now will help shape what it becomes.

At the centre of it is our platform. It is not a system of record we maintain; it is the engine the whole strategy runs on — the thing that lets us deliver our services to clients, talent, and partners across markets, learn faster than anyone else, and turn a good idea into something operating globally in weeks. Get the platform right and everything else compounds. That is the bet, and it is why this role exists.

We're looking for a Product Manager

We're looking for a Product Manager to take real ownership of a piece of that engine and drive it forward. The destination is set: we have a defined strategy and a defined portfolio of services to deliver. Your job isn't to decide what business we're in — it's to figure out how we win at it. That's where we expect ambition, invention, and genuinely creative answers to hard problems. You'll bring a strong point of view on where your product should go, and the judgement to make most of the calls day to day — while working in close partnership with the Business and Strategy Offices and staying honest to real regional needs. Influence, not a blank cheque.

We also won't pretend the job is what it was three years ago. AI has changed our profession, and we're looking for Product Managers who treat that as an advantage, not a threat. You get more out of AI tools than most people think is possible: you prototype and design in hours, not sprints; you work fluently with AI-powered engineering teams on daily iteration cycles; you make quick decisions, keep the loop short, and turn a need into something real in a fraction of the time it used to take. Speed to market is a skill here, and AI is how you get it.

This is a high bar, deliberately. We want someone who has worked in or around managed services (MSP), staffing, contingent workforce, talent management, or services procurement, who already knows where the money moves and where the friction hides — and who is hungry for a problem this big. You should find the ambiguity exciting rather than daunting, the scale motivating rather than intimidating, and the constraints a puzzle to solve rather than a wall to complain about.

If you want a defined lane and a finished brief, this isn't it. If you want to take a clear strategy and a real platform and make them win — inventing the how alongside strong partners across the business, and using AI to move faster than you thought you could — keep reading.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the role

You'll join the CPTO organisation and work at the intersection of Product, Technology, AI, and Operations, on products that deliver our services to clients, talent, and partners globally.

You'll move fluidly between two altitudes that most people treat as separate jobs:

  • The long view — you hold a multi-year vision for your product and keep it anchored to our strategy and service portfolio and to where modern workforce and HR services are heading. You design for a coherent, global platform, not one-off features for one market.
  • The ground — you write the detailed product definition, sit with engineers every day, make the trade-offs, unblock the work, and lead the team to something shipped and adopted. You get into the detail because that's where products are won or lost — and you use AI to get through that detail faster than a traditional team could.

There won't always be a clear answer, and you'll rarely have complete information. Creating clarity, deciding, and keeping the iteration loop short is the job — done in step with the Business and Strategy Offices rather than in isolation.

Your success isn't measured by how many requirements you wrote or features you shipped. It's measured by what changed because you were here.

What you'll do:

  • Find where domain insight, technology, and AI can materially improve how we deliver our services to clients, talent, and partners.
  • Get underneath problems instead of accepting today's process as a given.
  • Turn ambiguous challenges into clear hypotheses, prototypes, and experiments — building the first working version yourself, fast, with AI and modern tooling, when that's the quickest way to learn.
  • Write the detailed product definition and work shoulder-to-shoulder with AI-powered engineering teams to build, test, and iterate — in daily cycles, not quarterly ones.
  • Make pragmatic build / buy / automate / redesign / stop decisions with the information you have.
  • Own the backlog, priorities, and roadmap — and keep challenging whether they still make sense.
  • Take ideas from first prototype through to production, adoption, and continuous improvement, with a relentless focus on short time to market.
  • Hold a long-term product vision and design toward a coherent, globally scalable platform aligned to our strategy.
  • Coordinate closely with the Business and Strategy Offices and reflect real regional needs in what you build.
  • Define what success looks like, instrument it, and prove whether the product is delivering.
  • Build alignment across technology, operations, and leadership without becoming a hostage to consensus.

What we offer

  • A high-impact Product role at the centre of our transformation.
  • The freedom and responsibility to build, not just maintain — within a clear strategy worth backing.
  • Direct access to senior leadership and the teams delivering the change.
  • Hands-on work with AI, automation, and modern tooling, on teams built to move fast.
  • Global reach — products that affect how thousands of people and processes operate across markets.
  • A broad playing field: your scope grows as you demonstrate impact.
  • An environment where initiative beats hierarchy and execution beats bureaucracy.

One last thing

If your instinct when someone says "that won't work" is to ask "okay — so how could we make it work?" — and then open a laptop and prototype it before the meeting's over — we should talk.

This role isn't about hiring someone who already has all the answers. It's about hiring the person who takes responsibility for finding them, fast, and building the win.

What we're looking for

We care more about how you think and operate than whether you followed a textbook PM path. You are someone who:

  • Knows the domain. Real experience in MSP, staffing, contingent workforce, talent management, services procurement, or an adjacent field — enough to have strong, informed instincts about clients, talent, and partners.
  • Gets the most out of AI. You use AI daily to research, design, prototype, and ship — and you keep pace with what these tools can do as they change month to month.
  • Prototypes and designs fast. You turn an idea into a working mock, flow, or lightweight build yourself, in hours, to make the abstract tangible.
  • Works in short cycles. You're comfortable with daily iteration alongside AI-powered engineering teams and you optimise ruthlessly for time to market.
  • Decides with incomplete information and has the product judgement to be right often enough.
  • Is comfortable in ambiguity and creates structure where there is none.
  • Is commercially minded — a technically impressive product that creates no business value is worthless.
  • Leads engineers to success: clear definition, sharp priorities, and the trust of the people building.
  • Holds a long-term vision while shipping this week, and keeps both aligned to the wider strategy.
  • Coordinates well — can partner with the Business and Strategy Offices and challenge senior stakeholders without creating unnecessary friction.
  • Moves quickly from "we can't" to "what would it take?"
  • Translates fluently between business, product, data, and engineering.
  • Is energised by change rather than thrown by it.

Experience with AI, automation, or data products is highly valuable. You don't need to be an ML engineer, but you do need to understand what AI can enable, where it breaks, and how to turn that into something useful — for your users and for how you work.
