Job Description

As a Product Manager within our COS AI, Analytics and Data (AIAD) team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development, implementation, and management of data & insights products for global COS. You will work together with a diverse team comprising Data Analysts, Business Analysts, Data Scientists, AI and Data Engineers, closely engaging with key stakeholders to deliver high-quality AI, data & insights products for Global COS. You will lead our sales and commercial product suites – integrating in-store analytics, merchandising analytics - optimizing inventory/pricing etc., omni sales BI and business controlling analytics.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the strategic vision, direction, and roadmap for data & insights product development, aligning it with business goals and customer needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional areas to identify data & insights product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Define high-level KPIs/OKRs and align them with the respective stakeholders, supporting a data-driven environment.
  • Follow agile methodologies and best practices to facilitate efficient and iterative product development.
  • Work on a broad variety of business challenges with a wide range of business stakeholders (marketing, sales, merch, purchasing, logistics, controlling etc.).
  • Act as the subject matter expert on sales, commercial, in-store operations, business controlling, and merchandising business domain within the product team.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data management, advanced analytics, and AI technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on our organization.

What you need to succeed

  • Proven several years of experience as either:
    • Data Analyst, Product/Business Analyst, or Controller with formal/informal experience in leading data analytics product/projects.
    • Product/Project Manager with hands-on experience in data analysis, product/business analysis, or controlling.
  • Functional knowledge of lean-agile development and methodologies as well as product vision creation and product roadmap development.
  • Ability to build end-to-end product strategy, including definition of scope, roadmap, and KPIs, and understand product development from ideation to release.
  • Capable of gathering, analyzing, and understanding customer and business needs and understanding impact against product backlog and impact on team.
  • Able to clearly express the connections between larger business goals and small backlog items for team members.
  • Have strong business sense and business interest with the ability of making sound interpretations of data and other information.
  • Have excellent communication skills and are skilled in translating and explaining complex data analysis to non-technical and/or senior stakeholders.
  • Are prestigeless and enjoy collaborating with others to solve problems.
  • Are fluent in English.

Merit/Plus to have

  • Work experience and strong business acumen within retail – Retail sales, in-store analytics, merchandising, and business controlling domain.
  • Experience in working with Advanced Analytics technologies.

This is a permanent contract based at our Head Office in London.
