Associate Product Manager – Cloud
Industry: Technology
Package: Up to £55,000 base + 5% bonus + comprehensive benefits
Location: UK (Hybrid)
Reporting To: Head of Product Management
The Opportunity
A leading UK technology business is expanding its product management team. Operating at national scale, the organisation partners with enterprise and mid-market clients to deliver modern cloud services, digital solutions, and recurring-revenue portfolios.
This role offers significant scope for progression into full Product Management, focusing on day-to-day lifecycle ownership, commercial optimisation, and continuous improvement across public cloud (AWS or Azure) and As-a-Service propositions.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio & Lifecycle Management: Support the roadmap, operational effectiveness, and commercial viability of Cloud (AWS or Azure) and As-a-Service (aaS) offerings through all lifecycle stages, including launches, BAU service refreshes, and retirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Technology, Service Delivery, Marketing, and Commercial teams to keep services aligned with customer demand and operational efficiency.
- Commercial & Data Analysis: Review service utilisation, margins, and customer adoption metrics to support pricing updates, business cases, and investment proposals.
- Go-to-Market & Enablement: Work with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to produce service documentation, sales collateral, customer communications, and product enablement resources.
- Vendor & Partner Coordination: Assist with public cloud partner and vendor engagement activities (AWS or Azure) to align product roadmaps and governance standards.
- Market & Proposition Insight: Research competitor offerings, emerging technology trends, and client feedback to identify opportunities for service optimisation and proposition development.

What We Are Looking For

- Cloud Awareness: Understanding of core public cloud concepts and platforms across either AWS or Azure.
- Product / Tech Foundation: Early-career experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Service Management, or related technology and commercial disciplines.
- Commercial Mindset: Awareness of recurring revenue business models, service delivery structures, and commercial analysis.
- Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Ability to analyse operational data, service performance, and customer feedback to inform decision-making.
- Stakeholder Skills: Strong communication and organisational skills to coordinate priorities across technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders.
