Referment is working with a fast-growing B2B fintech company to hire a Product Manager to help build and deliver products used by large financial institutions.
This is a hands-on Product role sitting between customers, Engineering, Compliance and commercial teams. You'll take complex or ambiguous requirements, understand the underlying problem and turn them into well-defined products and features that can be delivered effectively.
The business operates within a regulated environment and works with sophisticated enterprise customers, so you'll need to balance speed and product thinking with technical complexity, regulatory requirements and the realities of delivering into large organisations.
The Role
You'll Be Responsible For
- Working across Product, Engineering, Compliance and commercial teams to define and deliver new products and features.
- Turning business and customer problems into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Understanding edge cases and dependencies before development begins.
- Owning UAT and ensuring features meet requirements before reaching customers.
- Working directly with enterprise and institutional customers throughout the product and delivery lifecycle.
- Understanding customer requirements while challenging proposed solutions where appropriate.
- Managing multiple customer and product workstreams simultaneously.
- Keeping technical, commercial and compliance stakeholders aligned.
- Using customer feedback and data to inform product decisions.
- Working with Engineering on products involving APIs, data integrations and file-based processes.
- Considering user experience across both customer-facing interfaces and technical integrations.
- Taking ownership of delivery from initial problem through to successful release.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
