Job Opportunity: Product Manager, Billing Platform
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager, Billing Platform based in the United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of financial products within a fast-growing global technology environment.
You will lead the strategy and evolution of a billing platform, solving complex challenges for businesses operating internationally.
Working within a cross-functional product team, you will collaborate with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
The position combines strategic thinking, customer-focused product development, and hands-on execution.
You will own a key product area, drive roadmap decisions, and transform business needs into scalable product experiences.

Accountabilities
Responsibilities
You will take ownership of a key product area within the finance domain, driving strategy, execution, and continuous improvement. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the billing platform, aligning priorities with broader business objectives.
- Own the end-to-end product experience, from identifying customer and business needs to delivering scalable software solutions.
- Work closely with engineering, design, operations, sales, and other stakeholders to solve complex product challenges.
- Identify the most valuable problems to solve and guide teams toward effective, iterative solutions.
- Break down strategic initiatives into clear short- and medium-term goals that teams can execute against.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the billing product area, understanding customer needs, business requirements, and market opportunities.
- Lead prioritization decisions by balancing customer impact, business value, technical complexity, and long-term strategy.
- Support the delivery of high-impact product improvements through efficient experimentation and iteration.
- Define and monitor key product metrics and business KPIs to measure success and guide decisions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop prototypes, validate ideas, and accelerate product development using modern AI-powered tools.
- Manage complex projects independently while ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.
- Communicate product vision, progress, and impact clearly across the organization.
- Contribute knowledge, processes, and best practices to strengthen product management capabilities.
- Work effectively in an asynchronous environment, promoting transparency, ownership, and proactive decision-making.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is a product professional with strong experience building financial or billing solutions and the ability to operate independently in a complex technology environment. The required qualifications and skills include:
- Previous experience as a Product Manager focused on billing, invoicing, payments, financial products, or similar domains.
- Experience working in high-growth technology companies or environments with complex product challenges.
- Ability to use AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar solutions to independently build, debug, and ship functional prototypes or small code changes.
- Strong strategic judgment with the ability to make effective prioritization and feature-scope decisions.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable product improvements and business impact.
- Passion for creating simple, effective, and scalable solutions to complex problems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical, commercial, and operational teams.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear product strategies and actionable plans.
- Experience working with engineering and design teams to deliver successful products.
- Strong ownership mindset, autonomy, curiosity, and ability to drive initiatives forward.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams is considered an advantage.
