About the Role

You will be a key member of the Market Risk IT team (MRIT) within TDI (Technology, Data & Innovation), taking ownership of the RiskFinder platform to deliver critical capabilities to multiple stakeholders and sponsors. RiskFinder is the Bank’s core Risk & Capital Management platform providing essential functionality to accurately calculate capital metrics, perform sophisticated risk scenario analysis, and deliver comprehensive portfolio risk analytics and related control functions across all the Bank’s business lines. This high-performance system processes over 600 billion scenarios daily on a robust compute grid, consolidating results into a powerful big data store, and enabling our end users to effectively aggregate, report and analyze critical risk results.

As a Risk IT PMBA, you will be instrumental in defining, shaping, and delivering new capabilities and functional enhancements for the RiskFinder platform. This includes translating complex business requirements into actionable capabilities and features pertaining to functional elements in pricing, data management, operational management, analytics, and reporting. You will be expected to possess a good understanding of financial products and market risk concepts, enabling you to articulate user needs, contribute to solutions design, and perform analysis to support feature development. You will be an integral part of a product team, driving the overall product strategy, roadmap, and backlog for the wider tribe, ensuring its implementation within an agile cadence.

Your key responsibilities

  • Involve in Business Analysis assignments that are required to support new capabilities and onboarding new business lines and metrics
  • Prepare and refine product backlog into features and stories, aligned with quarterly business review increment planning.
  • Collaborate with product and solution architecture to contribute towards the definition of the long-term product and technology roadmap across the MRIT organization.
  • Provide clear guidance and steer to the delivery team, setting clear objectives, and proactively escalating and managing risks and issues.

Your skills and experience

  • Ideally over 15 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in product management and business analysis, including building product backlogs, and contributing towards building new capabilities for the function
  • Minimum 3 years of understanding of risk management and capital calculation principles.
  • Expertise in data mining and modeling, understanding business domain data structures.
  • Strong data analytics skills (Python preferred) and a commitment to hands-on learning.
  • Have attention to detail to understand complex functional platforms and architectures
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex problems and solutions effectively to architecture, senior management, and diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and confident to interact with clients, functional upstream and downstream contacts, and also collaborate with other team members.
