About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join BOQ Retail Bank's Transformation team and play a critical role in one of the bank's most significant customer-focused transformation programs.
As Product Manager, Communications – Everyday Banking Transformation, you will lead the design, development and delivery of customer communication strategies that support large-scale transformation and migration initiatives across our Everyday Banking products and services.
Working at the intersection of Product, Change, Digital, Marketing and Customer Experience, you will help ensure our customers and frontline teams are confidently guided through complex product, platform and service changes.
You will work closely with senior management, customer facing teams and stakeholders across the organisation to identify challenges, collaborate effectively, uncover opportunities and co-design practical communications that deliver meaningful transformation outcomes.
A core part of the role will involve leading end-to-end customer communication strategies and program delivery across a range of channels including email, SMS, direct mail, FAQs, web content, landing pages, in-app messaging and internal communications.
You will be responsible for translating complex banking, technical and regulatory information into clear, customer-friendly messaging that drives understanding, confidence and engagement.
You will play an instrumental role in supporting customer migration and transformation programs by coordinating communications across multiple customer cohorts, developing communication frameworks and reusable content templates, and ensuring messaging is delivered consistently across every customer touchpoint.
Success in this role will require strong stakeholder engagement skills. You will build trusted relationships across Product, Change, Marketing, Digital, Contact Centre, Program Delivery, Risk, Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all communications align with broader transformation objectives and customer support strategies. You will also identify, document, and help resolve risks and issues while ensuring communication activities meet governance, regulatory and compliance obligations.

Experience within financial services or another highly regulated industry will be highly regarded, particularly if you have supported customer migrations, transformation programs or large-scale business change initiatives.
Exposure to Jira, Confluence or similar project collaboration tools would also be advantageous.
Most importantly, you are highly organised, proactive and passionate about delivering customer-focused solutions.
You bring strong attention to detail, a commitment to continuous improvement and a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on both customer experience and business outcomes.
