VP, Communications Product Management

Office Location

Role Type

Hybrid

IPC is a global fintech company that puts people at the center of innovation. With a strong global footprint, we empower financial institutions and capital markets with advanced cloud-based trading communications and managed connectivity solutions.

Through our portfolio of communications and connectivity solutions, we focus on solving business challenges and adapting to regulatory changes in the fast-paced global financial markets. This enables our clients to maintain consistent market access, a strong competitive advantage, and enhanced operational efficiency.

Join a team that is dedicated to delivering groundbreaking products and making a significant impact on our clients' success.

Overview of the Team

You will join IPC’s Product Management organization, a global team partnering closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Customer Success/Support, and Compliance/Security. Our products operate in mission-critical, 24×7 global environments where reliability, security, and customer trust are non-negotiable.

Role Overview

As the Product Manager, Compliance / IPC One, you will shape and execute the compliance capabilities embedded in IPC One’s communications experiences—spanning capture/recording, retention, supervision workflows, auditability, and policy-driven controls. You will translate regulatory and customer requirements into clear product outcomes and roadmaps, and partner with Engineering to deliver reliable, secure, cloud-forward solutions that help customers meet evolving supervisory expectations.

You will work directly with global customers (compliance, legal, IT, and front-office stakeholders) and internal teams to prioritize features that reduce regulatory risk while improving usability and operational efficiency. Compliance matters deeply in IPC’s world—supporting customer requirements such as MiFID II, FINRA, SEC, FCA, and GDPR is foundational to how we design and run solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery with compliance, legal, and operations stakeholders to convert regulatory and policy needs into prioritized epics and measurable outcomes.
  • Define compliance product strategy for IPC One (capture, retention, supervision, evidence) to reduce customer compliance gaps and improve audit readiness.
  • Own the roadmap and release plan for compliance capabilities to improve predictability and stakeholder alignment across regions and channels.
  • Partner with Engineering and Security to embed “secure-by-design” requirements to reduce operational and regulatory risk throughout delivery.
  • Specify workflows for supervision and review (sampling, lexicons, flagging, retrieval, evidence trails) to reduce review effort and strengthen governance.
  • Drive partner and integration strategy (e.g., compliance services ecosystems) to expand coverage across channels and accelerate time-to-value.
  • Collaborate with Sales/Marketing on positioning, packaging, and enablement to improve win rates in compliance-driven buying cycles.
  • Define and track KPIs (adoption, retention, capture coverage, audit success metrics) to improve product outcomes with data-driven iteration.
  • Support product lifecycle decisions (enhancements, migrations, deprecations) to reduce customer disruption and operational burden.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
