About the role
As Product Manager for Customer Range, you will own the vision, strategy and delivery of a critical product that helps determine which products customers can buy in Tesco stores and online.
Have you ever gone into a supermarket looking for a product and found it isn't stocked in that store? Or noticed that a store has too much of one product and not enough of another? myProduct Range helps solve these problems. It enables Tesco to make smarter, data-driven decisions about which products should be ranged in each store, ensuring local customers can find the products most relevant to them while making the best use of limited shelf space.
As Tesco moves from traditional range planning to a science-led approach, you will play a key role in transforming how product ranges are created, optimised and maintained. Working across Commercial, Technology, Data Science and Operations, you will help shape the tools and capabilities that influence millions of customer shopping decisions every week.
You will have end-to-end ownership of the product, setting the long-term vision, validating ideas early and solving complex customer and business problems. Your success will be measured by your ability to improve product availability, increase customer satisfaction, drive commercial performance and simplify decision-making for colleagues at scale.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
