Product Manager wanted to join our Product team at WPP Enterprise Solutions
The opportunity:
- Permanent
- Location: London/Hybrid
As a Product Manager at VML/WPP ES, you will sit at the absolute heart of our digital operations for one of our largest automotive clients. You are the person who ensures the team is delivering the right thing, for the right people, at the right time. You will bridge the gap between complex business strategy, customer missions, and hands-on digital delivery, translating ambitious automotive objectives into high-performing, user-centric digital products. Working in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment, you will act as the "glue" connecting WPP's agency teams, client's in-house specialists, and key third-party partners to drive measurable performance optimization.
What you’ll be doing:
End-to-End Product Lifecycle & Delivery:
- Discovery to Go-to-Market: Lead digital initiatives end-to-end—from initial discovery and hypothesis validation through design, engineering, QA, and deployment, to final market launch.
- Requirements Definition: Translate complex market, user, business needs, and stakeholder views into highly detailed product requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and briefs.
Prioritisation & Backlog Management:
- WSJF Prioritisation: Contribute to fortnightly collaborative prioritisation sessions.
- Roadmap Stewardship: Contribute to a transparent, ranked backlog to guide contributing teams away from chaotic multiple priorities toward a highly structured, quarterly planning horizon.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- The "Glue" of the Operation: Act as the primary link across a complex stakeholder map.
- UX, UI & Content Collaboration: Partner closely with creative and design squads to define problems, user outcomes, and design standards, ensuring all decisions align with both product vision and Client's strict brand guidelines.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Data Performance, CRO & SEO:
- Evidence-Based Decisions: Commission market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to discover unmet user needs.
- Continuous Optimisation: Proactively monitor product performance, analyse key performance metrics, and gather feedback to drive continuous CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and performance iterations.
- SEO/AIO/GEO Integration: Ensure SEO is deeply embedded in early planning, requirements, and prioritisation rather than treated as an afterthought.
What we want from you:
- Experience working within Product Management
- Strong background managing consumer-facing digital products, ideally within the automotive space (CX, vehicle configurators, lead capture, CRM, or fleet/retail digital touchpoints).
- Experience translating complex market, user, and business needs into detailed product requirements and epic/user stories
- Customer-centric: Focused on understanding, anticipating, and exceeding customers’ needs.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinker: Ability to see the big picture and translate corporate objectives (such as lead generation, Retail, Pro, or Omnichannel experiences) into tangible, measurable digital KPIs. Commercially savvy, prioritises value over output.
- Technically Literate & Data-Driven: Comfortable collaborating with a variety of specialists. Able to use both quantitative & qualitative measures. You make product decisions based on evidence and analytics rather than gut feel.

- Tools: Experience using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent product management and planning software.
