At Lumera, we’re helping some of Europe’s leading Life and Pensions providers modernise their technology, unlock the value of their data, and prepare for an AI-driven future.

Data and Analytics is a strategic growth area for Lumera. We see a significant opportunity to help our clients move beyond traditional reporting towards data-driven decision making, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled services.

To realise that ambition, we’re looking for a Product Manager who can build, shape, and commercialise our Data & Analytics offering.

We’re not looking for someone whose primary focus is gathering requirements, maintaining roadmaps, or coordinating delivery activities. We’re looking for an entrepreneur - a builder.

This is not a traditional Product Manager role.

This role is for someone who can identify an opportunity, create a compelling vision, translate that vision into products and services, and drive them through to adoption and commercial success. Someone who is equally comfortable discussing strategy with executives, meeting clients to understand their challenges, and working hands-on with product and engineering teams to bring solutions to market.

This is an opportunity to create a business area from the ground up and play a defining role in Lumera’s future growth.

The opportunity

As Product Manager for Data & Analytics, you will own the vision, proposition, roadmap, and commercial success of this strategic area.

Your mission is to establish Data & Analytics as a recognised growth engine for Lumera by developing products and capabilities that create measurable value for clients and measurable revenue growth for the business.

You will work across Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Executive Leadership, helping transform ideas into market-leading solutions.

You will also play a key role in shaping how AI becomes embedded into Lumera’s products and services, ensuring we create differentiated offerings designed for the future rather than simply following industry trends.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Building and growing the business Establishing and growing Lumera's Data & Analytics business area by defining its vision, proposition, and strategic direction. Identifying new growth opportunities, business models, and monetisation strategies, while driving business cases, investment decisions, and commercial planning to deliver measurable business outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
